We ate dinner there last night after reading their reviews compared to the Windjammer and the Ocean Crust. The bartender/server was great, most informative and very overworked. Apparently the dinner cook had texted in that morning and quit. The breakfast cook was at the bar and brought over the menus. It seemed like he might have been there since that morning. The owner was cooking and had several problems - the pilot light on the grill and had gone out and he did not notice it and that slowed the food. Most importantly he forgot several indigents on the "Supreme" pizza. The pizza was recommended as very good, but no amount of additional indigents would have helped the frozen pizza style crust. While at the bar, the bartender tried to get someone to go in the kitchen and take over. Unfortunately they did not. The server did not charge us for most of our food. It was a memorable experience. The whole story came out in parts and pieces. I would not give them another chance, but it does make for a great story.

A Private User

We recently made a trip to Moclips, WA and were thrilled to find this wonderful place. The service was great (our server/bartender was very attentive) and we felt very welcome. The food was delicious - especially the sourdough burger and the fettucini alfredo! The chef was vey friendly and came out to our table to check on us. The restaurant is also a full bar and has a pool table, juke box and perhaps darts.. We had a great time and wish wed been able to return before we had to leave. If you are staying in Pacific Beach or Moclips, definitely make the trip just up/down the road to this wonderful restaurant/bar. It far surpassed other establishments in the area. Plus, the food was amazing and more reasonably priced. Enjoy!

This place is not big, the ton it is in is not big and yes there are locals. What do you expect! The food was great. The bartender "stoney" was awesome. he was funny and very attentive. We had philly cheesesteak ,fries, salad. they had fry sauce and home made blue chees dressing that was awesome. The locals were fun and we laughed the whole time we were there. which was a few hours. there is a small restaurant side, so kids are not in the bar and it has a really cool outdoor fenced in smoking area. Made me wish I still smoked.

Seemed to be just two people working - the cook and the bartender / waiter who was rushed off his feet but still keeping a friendly outlook. Unfortunately one of our party got diarrhea and spent the next 24 hours sick. Wont be going back - should have paid more heed to the reviewer a month ago I guess who had the same deal after eating the fish (we had the steak)

It *could* be described as a "dive bar", but the only people who would are way too stuck up for me want to be associated with. I dig this little place. The food is pretty damned good, and the bottled beer selection is good enough to hang with more uptown places. It is and feels like a good, welcoming, and home town bar and grill.

Got the chicken/bacon/alfredo pizza. Small is maybe 6"...left still hungry and a little disappointed. $11 too. Tasted fine, maybe not the freshest ingredients but i just wanted something filling. Service wasnt great either...but i understand they cant really afford more than a few people.

This is a classic bar hangout with a small dinning area. It has a pool table along with darts and other bar entertainment. The food was a selection of bar food that was good, but nothing special. The bartender/staff seemed friendly and were quick and eager to help with anything.

Yes this tavern has great food. Our time there was quite enjoyable and Stoney is a super guy, we gave him a good tip. This is not fine dining, not sure where the "Restaurant and Lounge" description came from but in this neck of the woods one cant be too choosy.

On a drizzly cool winter afternoon, I was delighted to find breakfast served till 3. My biscuits and gravy was delicious and the black coffee kept coming. I will definitely be back for more.

Food was good, just watch the fish and chips as mine were under cooked. Really good beer selection considering location and that it is a dive bar.
