Have you got a few minutes before your catch your ferry? Or maybe youve just wandered over from Seattle. No time is ever wasted, however short when you drop into beautiful BIMA! Its free, and rain free! Remarkable regional art from massive glass canoes to touching and whimsical handmade books.

Its free, so how bad could it be? :) Its small, but its a lovely space with curators who care. There was an indigenous art exhibition when I was there and the pieces on display were outstanding. Two floors, a gift shop and a cafe. Pretty good for a place as small as Bainbridge Island!

The copper foil tooling activity for kids and adults took me to a time wormhole. My adult kids and grandkids enjoyed making art as much as I did. This museum is a true gift not only to the residents of Bainbridge Island but to all its visitors and beyond

Walking distance from the ferry. Nice modern art museum, and a greatest to get out of a sudden rainstorm and have fun doing it.
