My visit was with a group, so we had a docent. This was the BEST! I learned a ton of stuff I never wouldve picked up from displays alone, or not without a lot of reading. Super, little known history, very local flavor. Be sure to pay your respects at Chief Sealths grave, across the street and a half block down toward the water. Beautiful gift shop on site, contemporary native art, too, beautiful.

Very informative. Need a touching area/interactive area for kids. My grandson is Native American but not enough to count and be included in a tribal community. This is the only way, for now, for him to gain knowledge, experience, and empathy other than through grand and great grandparents who choose when to tell their stories.

Its a small but interest museum focused on the Suquamish tribe. Very professionally done, but a bit expensive for the size of the exhibit.

Museum is small. Chief Seattles Grave is on the same street and is a must see. Together these sites are with the trip.

You get to see the things made by natives and learn the history from one of them.
