I disagree with the poor review. Harmonia has always been reasonable with cancellations and accommodating the students needs. Every business has their own policy and they always try to accommodate your situation within reasons. If I were that parent, I would have tried to do my part too and called ahead BEFORE the class started if I thought my child was going to be too sick to attend. My son is in 7th grade now. Hes been going to Harmonia since maybe 2nd grade. He started with art classes, produced really cool work that we still keep in the house today, framed and hung on the wall. Then he soon started piano lessons too and now hes working on his Grade 5 ABRSM exam this Fall. We just moved and we bought a baby grand piano that looks really nice because thankfully we have a piano player in the house! My son also did some voice lessons and cello lessons, and he loved all of them but unfortunately he doesnt have the time to do all of those in a regular basis. Harmonia always has great teachers, great fun events for the kids (Annual Scale-a-thon, Halloween Recital, annual recitals, etc etc). Harmonia is so much better than Music & Arts because it feels more homey and were like a huge family here.

I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT recommend this place. My daughter was EXTREMELY contagiously sick with pneumonia and I called the owner BEFORE classes started. Despite how sick I told her my daughter was she urged me to try to bring her. Later in the day I called to tell her the doctors diagnosis - that it would be a terrible idea - and I had a doctors note. I found it extremely cheesy that she refused to refund my money in full despite that their registration form states that they make refund exceptions given a doctors note. The owner claimed that I did not give her enough time to fill the vacancy. Its not so much about the money, but that she was willing to endanger everyone elses children and was more worried about a potential vacancy. Also, I had to email them several times to show them their application had an exception for the doctors note - she never brought it up on her own and in fact, when I inquired on my first call, I was told "there is no refunds"! BEWARE - these people do not exercise good judgement, I wouldnt trust them with my children!

We love Harmonia! Our daughter has been taking Harmonias drama class & voice lessons for over 2 years, and the instructors are fantastic! Our daughter has a lot of fun, and weve also see great development in her singing & acting. We highly recommend Harmonia!
