This is not a review of going to see a show at the F. Scott (though Ive done that too, and its a good time). No, THIS is a review of the theater from the actors perspective. Ive done a smattering of community theater in DC. Rehearsal spaces have always been catch as catch can, and theaters are often the same. "Change in the hallway" and "wing space? We dont need wing space!" are common. Not at the F. Scott! Theres a proper green room. There are two well-equipped dressing rooms -- with mirrors galore! And lights! Theres plenty of parking, and its even a nice walk from the Metro. Being in a show at the F. Scott is so much more luxurious than at other theaters in the DC area.

This is my favorite theater! I continue to come to performances no matter how far away I live. When I moved to Ellicott City, it was 30 miles. Now, from Mount Airy its only 25 miles ... what a treat! There is not a bad seat in the place ... all seating is very comfortable. I love the variety of venues at this theater as well. Its a winner!!

Theatre for several local community theatre companies. Quality varies with the company. Seats are comfortable. Microphone system doesnt always work well and it can be hard to understand performers with poor diction.

We have enjoyed every performance we have seen here from both Rockville Little Theater and Rockville Musical Theater. The theater is beautiful, plenty of parking and every seat is a great seat. We love going here.

A nice little community theater in Rockville. The grounds are a particularly nice attraction; lots of green space and a playground for children.

This place is really amazing because it has always interesting shows, I took my daughter for the Nutcracker Ballet Show and we really enjoyed!

Enjoyable experience. Not huge so you can see everything on stage easily from any seat. Cast mingles with patrons after the show briefly.
