Skyfall NYE party was a fail. We were told we could buy tickets there using a credit card, and so we planned to get there at 8, grab tickets leave to get dinner then come back with other friends.... Well... They werent ready at 8 to open the doors, doors opened at 8:30 and they werent even ready for ticket sales and couldnt get their credit card purchases to work. We stood there for almost another 30 minutes and the lady thought she had it working but then she was trying to charge everyone a different price. Got so irritated we just left... We grabbed dinner and then had an awesome time at the hat factory... Will not even attempt to go back to this place. Our friends who bought tickets in advance were texting us by 12:30 to join us because the Skyfall NYE party was awful.

When I made reservations I explained that I was short that I didnt needed to be on stage but high enough to see ...... WORST sitting EVER !!! If I wanted to look thru and peak over rails I wouldve arrange a tour of the city jail or look @ a movie screen i wouldve went to the movies and kept my money ( 112.00) !!!!!!! Voiced the situation to management nothing done to correct the problem, all my sister and I got was a stiff neck. The Manhattans was great !!!! Will NEVER EVER attend another event there unless JESUS was there . Plus they said the doors will open @ 3 pm .. not !! Waited in this long line in the hot heat for over 35 minutes, had one person checking us in it was awful ....

This place is a disgrace and Ron Stallings is a slimy person- I Had booked this place for my graduation, sent out invites, got RSVP while still working on the menu with Ron, he double books the rooms sells it to another person and then tries to sell me a bigger room for a higher price. I get it is a business, and u did what is right for you but rather than being apologetic he tells me I don’t want to do business with you. Because I am being too demanding. Ron. Please check you are in a customer service industry. People – if you have graduation booking here please take an email confirmation from this place, not trust worthy.

Did not return deposit for 50th birthday party! Would not return several messages left via email as well numerous attempts of correspondence. It would be a shame and a disgrace to have to haul a fellow African American entrepreneur into court for over 1300.00 dollars. My prayer for you, Ronald Stallings is that you are not making your bones from cheating people, it does fare well in our community. Im sure your father did not instill that in you or then again maybe he did, either way, you reap what you sow!

Extremely dark. The drinks were not made with any consistency mostly weak. Bartenders were slow and did not appear to want to serve you. Not a place I would recommend. I will try again before I make a final judgement. Everyone can have an off night.

I cant believe that the former President of the United States is scheduled to appear at this venue and their calendar shows a Paint Nite at the restaurant with no mention of the presidential event. Poor management of resources.

We held a Retirement/End of the School Year party at the Hippodromes Speakeasy. The afternoon affair went well. The food & service were both groovy. Mr.Stallings was very accommodating to us poor school teachers.

Very neat historical event venue. Good food and atmosphere as well. Be warned: if the event is slated to end at 9pm, they close the bar and flash lights at you at 8:59.
