By the name alone, you would think this would be a very enjoyable vineyard. In fact, when driving to this small town vineyard, you can easily spot it from the road by the adorable placement of two 20-ft corkscrew statues! But unfortunately, Dogs and Oysters is recently under new management and I suspect this vineyard wont be up to par for a couple of seasons at the very least. My boyfriend and I visited last summer (11) and were immediately greeted by the owners loud children, which wouldnt of been a problem if the owner, herself, hadnt made it extremely awkward by her angered state. All in all, the atmosphere and unhappy owners are not worth the hour of driving out of the way to see.

Even though we came in right before a large party, that does not mean that our tasting should be hurried. The douche bag owner was more interested in promoting a large upcoming event then making sure we were ok.

The tasting is so relaxed! We sat at a table with other people just chatting while the tasting staff told us about the wine and joining in the conversation. I would even recommend the wines!
