Awesome experience! You have to ask the staff about the history of the owner and how the winery came to be. Staff was sincerely friendly and were not pushy or stuffy. The environment was family friendly and fun to boot. The wine was very good, though I have a preference to the chambourcin and their reds.

The staff was great, especially Amy; nice, warm and welcoming on a rainy day. We chatted quite a bite with her as we went through the tasting. The wines were pretty good (for VA wines), and we ended up bringing some. Looking forward to go back and try on a warmer day.

Love this place! Desert Rose Ranch & Winery offers a wide selection of wines and each one is delicious. I have been to many wineries throughout Virginia, and Desert Rose Winery is my favorite one.
