I took my wife here for a weekend getaway before she shipped out for the National Guard. This bed and breakfast is great, one of the best we have been to in Virginia. Peggy, the inkeeper, was very friendly, made great breakfasts (eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast casserole, homemade yogurt, fruit salad, etc). The inn was gorgeous, overlooking the vineyard and the mountains. They have an infiniti pool and hot tub that cascade into one another. Our room was very clean and well kept, with a comfortable bed and plenty of space with a private bath. The winery was nice as well, since we got a free tasting with our stay, we took full advantage of it and got to try all of their wines. The owner of the winery and B & B was also very gracious and let us try one of his unreleased wines. There is an awesome tropical green house to see in the winery as well, with bananas, papayas, etc all growing right there. It was a great place to stay for the weekend and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice relaxing stay away from town.

One of he most beautiful vineyards we visited this fall (2015). The wines are not outstanding, at least not the regular tasting list. But the place is breathtaking. Plenty of space for a picnic. It may be a little difficult to get there but it is on GPS. Interestingly enough, the glass house is a controlled environment greenhouse for the tropical plants and banana trees, with real bananas. They do not serve food here, but the chocolate is just top notch. The B&B is really nice and cozy but it is usually booked solid. From here you can drive ti Dyke and finish your day at Stone Mountain before dusk. It is a hidden place on the top of the mountain worth the drive as the last stop to see the sunset.

Definitely a fun place to visit - with a wonderful, friendly owner! We were only in town for a few days and planned to bike that area, and while the winery is usually closed on Wednesdays, she met us at the winery so we could do a tasting. Lovely wines - and the chocolate tasting with the dessert wine is superb! Dont miss this one!

Nice atmosphere, and people. The grounds are gorgeous to sit on the balcony and look out over and the food is pretty good. I didnt love the interior sitting area, it is kind of like a green house with a lot of large plants surrounding you and the band was very loud a little too warm for my taste.

This is a wonderful experience, from the hand made chocolates, expanded wine list to the tropical plants. Anyone wanting a unique experience in Jeffersons Virginia, needs to visit Glass House Winery. Where else can you enjoy a glass of wine while sitting in the tropics!

Best Viognier (2010) I have had in Virginia yet. They know it and price accordingly. Not too sure about the Reds. Owner has good artistic taste. The place is upscale without going over the top.

Good wine, friendly staff and good views. Offer cheese/meat and crackers as snacks, wouldve been great if they cut the cheese and meat for us but thats being picky.

They dont have a lot of wines here but the ones they have are of good quality. Definitely a good sitting area to enjoy a bottle of wine afterwards too.

Stopped here for a day trip visit. The building/greenhouse was a little bizarre but fun to sit in. Wines were surprisingly good.
