I have never experienced a better theater in all of my life. I visited this theater and saw American Sniper, and was amazed about how crystal clear the picture was. And the sound? I have never heard 7.1 surround sound convicted in such an amazing way. I felt like I was in the movie. But what made me write this review, was not anything to do with the movie-going experience, but what I witnessed the owner, a young man named Chad was doing. It was one of the iciest day Ive ever encountered in my life. The theater parking lot was covered in sheer ice, and it was coming down in blankets. Thats when I saw the owner. He was guiding older patrons from the theater to their cars, so that they would not slip on the ice and hurt themselves. It was touching to see someone care so much about people, much less patrons, in such a positive way. This home town feeling coupled with big city attributes, is honestly amongst the finest of movie theater establishments I have been to. I look forward to going again very soon.

The experience of this theater starts when you walk up the steps. This landmark of Springfields past has been lovingly refurbished by a wonderful couple who put the serve in service. They really go all out with the decor tastefully matching their feature films. These folks really love the movies they present for the theater goer. All their staff is friendly and helpful and the popcorn is always fresh and hot and reasonably priced. Have some nachos and milk duds and enjoy the movies with friends and family, relaxing in comfortable cushioned seats. This is my favorite movie theater, from the friendly local folks that own and run it to the tasteful ambience, so why not make it your favorite too?

This theater is beautiful, clean, and top-of-the-line when it comes to its sound and video technology and quality. The 3-D is specially calibrated by the employees to make it enjoyable for even those who detest 3-D technology. The biggest theater has stadium seating with a huge screen and 7.1 surround sound. The two smaller theaters have screen sizes of which are used in Hollywood screening rooms. These theaters both pack the punch of fully digital picture and amazing surround sound. Whether you want to see the latest blockbuster movie or a potential Oscar-winning film, Springfield Cinemas 3 has it all, and I wouldnt dream of seeing a movie anywhere else.

Springfield Cinema 3 is the best movie theatre within a 50 mile radius of Springfield, VT. The Free Family is absolutely the most customer centered owners you could possibly imagine! They make everyone feel welcome and always are helpful. The theatre is immaculate and everything works perfectly. There is also technology for the hearing and visually impaired and handicap accessibility. The props that Chad (owner) collects are always changing and so much fun to see. ( like a life-sized Darth Vader, a shipping box addressed to Jurasic Park, and so on. Everything is placed for maximum enjoyment. We love this theatre!

This is a lovely rebuilt movie theater and absolutely immaculate! They run LOADS of first run films and the largest of the three screens is SERIOUSLY LARGE! The projection is super sharp digital and the surround sound is of excellent quality, I think that two of the three screens are set up for 3D (just saw Hansel and Gretel, silly story, way fun 3D!). The managers greet you warmly and they have all the requisite junk food necessary to make an evening at the movies complete.

This place was awesome; family run and by a super cool movie buff with collections to turn movie night into a film exhibitions! Went to see Dr. Strange amidst a set up of Potter Items for the premiere of Fantastic Beasts! I was blown away by the creativity and decor! Theater was state of the art, totally not what expected in this small town theater! This place was stellar! Go. Here. Now. Matinee tickets only 6 bucks! I think I ripped them off!

Decorations are an understatement with these guys! They go above and beyond to provide high quality artifacts thats go along with top movies! I posted some in the pictures! They had a Captain America shield and a sword from Lord of the Ring when I went. I got to talk to the owner and he informed me that they are constantly changing their artifacts and that he goes above and beyond to find or create some amazing ones

This is an absolutely wonderful theater. The staff is absolutely amazing and the service is superb. The owners are very friendly and the movies here are top of the line. The theaters are extremely clean and the sound is beyond perfect. The screens here are also some of the biggest Ive ever seen for small town theaters such as this one. Overall I highly recommend coming to this theater, you wont be disappointed.

You can tell they really put a lot of effort and care into this business, and try to make a great experience for the movie-goers. Everything is immaculately clean, the 3D is great, and I love how theyve set up the whole place with awesome movie memorabilia. Its a bit further to get there from where I live than it would be to get to several other theatres in the area, but its worth the extra drive time.

Its definitely a small-town movie theater, in an excellent way. The staff is friendly, seriously into their jobs. The atmosphere is fantastic. The entire place is clean, engaging, and the decor is themed and phenomenal. The smaller theater rooms create for a better and more engaged experience. I would definitely pick this theater over the other local "big-box" theaters.

The sound is impressive. The seats are all staged so as to not have somebodies head in the way of the screen. The 3D is by far the best of any cinema within 100 miles. Make your way to this cinema. It doesnt look like much on the outside, but with all that I listed not to mention friendly service, I cant recommend this theater enough.

I LOVE the Springfield theater! The old twenties feel and look, it is modern but very classic. The sound is amazing and the seats are very comfortable. the family that run the theater are a wonderful addition! They do lots of givaways on opening nights and are very creative with the decor of the theater. this is my home town theater

The best movie experience we have ever had. The owner and staff go out of their way with service, friendliness and over-the-top movie memorabilia & decor. Our yearly ski vacation to this area will now include a night at this theater. WOW! You dont get an experience like this from a multiplex. Keep up the great job!

Yes, that is true - I was there the the day after it was burnt out to visit The Simpsons Premiere shrine as this is where the World premiere was held. Apparently arson attack the previous night/very early hours of the morning! Shame, but atleast no one was injured or got killed in the fire. Suresh

Never in my whole life have I seen 3D this good, or surround sound that was so realistic. I honestly felt as though I was in the marvel universe, or among the apes in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, or really a part of any movie I see here at Springfield Cinemas 3. Highly recommended.
