We had our daughters wedding reception at Ivy House at Western Gardens Downtown in October and it was amazing! We loved the Ivy House! You dont really have do do any decorating if you dont want to because its already beautiful. We didnt even know Ivy House existed until I found it online when I was searching for a venue for our daughters wedding reception. They really took care of us and walked us through what we wanted to do for the reception and during the event they took care of us even more. They were there to help all the time, if we needed anything. We cant say enough good about the Ivy House. We would recommend it to anyone and everyone. Its a little treasure in Salt Lake City by Trolley Square.Now we want to tell everyone about it! They include (in the rental price) -- centerpieces, table clothes, large and small easels for pictures, lots of real candles, cake stand and knife, grand piano, fireplace, sound system, large flat screen TV for showing videos, a planner and hostesses to help with anything and a parking attendant for the large parking lot on site (a great plus for a venue in Salt Lake City).

I had my wedding reception at Ivy House Reception Center in May and I loved it! Everything turned out perfect. I loved that it included the chairs, tables, linens, and there was no extra fee for the dance floor! The big selling point for me was that I got to bring in my own caterer, which saved me a ton of money. We were able to do a whole pasta bar buffet dinner for 300 people for only $600! (Thanks to my aunt who is a genius caterer and a lot of super kind volunteers that helped cook and serve.) I thought the decorations were really classy, the lighting was great for pictures, and it was nice that there were so many parking spaces. It was also super convenient for our wedding guests that came to the ceremony at the Salt Lake Temple to not have to travel super far. They were able to go shopping and hang out downtown and then come straight over to our reception without all of the extra driving and hassle. I definitely recommend Ivy House to any bride looking for a beautiful, classy place that takes care of most of the set up for you.

My husband and I got married on August 20, 2016. We had looked into several options for our reception, but we were very impressed with the beautiful space at Ivy House. The beams and the decor are very modern but also very classic! When we visited Ivy House, we knew that it was the place to have our reception. We had a wonderful experience working with Ivy House. Jenny contacted us early on in our planning stages to help us get the ball rolling. She considered every possible detail months in advance and gave us suggestions on how to continue planning from here. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch because Jenny had considered every detail and was very flexible. The other staff were incredibly helpful and complimentary about our wedding. If you are looking for a beautiful space for your wedding day, please consider Ivy House.

We wanted a wedding reception that was simple yet elegant, at a venue that already looked decorated and didnt require a lot of stressing over decorations on our part. Thats exactly what we got with the Ivy House! It is a BEAUTIFUL venue, and thats what we heard time and time again from those that celebrated with us that evening. In addition, the Ivy House has thought through EVERYTHING. Even the way in which the crowd moves through the venue from the moment they enter the south doors is genius. Planning with Jenny Schreyer only required one meeting prior to the reception, and Terri and Jenny (a different Jenny) did a fabulous job as hostesses the night of our reception. We have already recommended the Ivy House to many. Thanks again, Ivy House! :)

The reception hall at Ivy House is beautiful! We got lots of compliments on the venue from our guests. We enjoyed that the facility had a lot of existing decoration -- we only had to add a few touches of our own. Since the reception hall is connected to the store, the store restrooms are used for events. This was a little weird, but not a big deal. Staff was very friendly and easy to work with. As a gay couple, you never know how well different venues or vendors will work with you. We were treated with respect and equal regard throughout the process. Everything was quick and painless, from the initial tour to the day of the wedding. We would definitely recommend giving it a look!

Ivy House is amazing! It is absolutely beautiful! We didnt have to worry about bringing our own decorations unless we wanted to. Jenny Kruger was wonderful to work with! She was available anytime that we needed her, she handled everything so we didnt have to worry about a thing, she was detailed oriented and made sure that we didnt have to worry about anything leading up to or on the day of the wedding. After the Ceremony the staff were very quiet while setting up for the Reception. They also finished the set up in a timely manner. My husband and I received many complements about how beautiful and organized the venue was. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a venue.

We were so happy with our experience at Ivy House. Jenny was amazing to work with!! She literally made our vision of a perfect night come true! Every detail we discussed with her over the previous 3 months was remembered and carried out to perfection. In fact, when I arrived at the event, Jenny was already there and everything had been set-up. We only had to add a few personal effects. It was absolutely beautiful!! All of the staff was amazing and wonderful to work with! They kept busy all night making sure everything was running smoothly. I couldnt have been happier!! I have 5 daughters and I will definitely use Ivy House for future weddings!!

Our reception was held at Ivy House Weddings and was a great and amazing experience. From the beginning the staff at Ivy House helps you with the smallest things that you have forgot. They are very easy to work with and go the extra mile to make sure your event turns out as a great and memorable experience. We also like that it you can bring your own food and you are not pushed into using their, often more expensive, catering company. This make it more affordable than other venues. Additionally, they work great with same sex couples and were happy to do so. Thanks Jenny(s) for all of your help in making it a perfect night.

The Ivy House made our wedding amaxing. They took care of absolutely everything. Whatever we wanted, they made it happen. We worked with Jenny, who is seriously the smartest most reliable woman ever. She listened to all my wants/needs. She was so sweet and made our day exactly what we wanted. The Ivy House crew was so great they made sure everything was set up correctly, and THEN cleaned everything up afterwords. We didnt have to do a thing. It was great to just show up and everything was already up and ready to go. I loved The Ivy House and I recommend it to everyone.
