We got married at White Oaks on the Bayou on March 11, 2017! We stumbled upon this venue after searching and visiting several other venues. Setting up to see the venue was fairly easy—it was harder to set up a time on the weekday due to our work schedule— but they were able to set up a time on weekends, if there were no events. We contacted with Sherry throughout the process, and she is great! She was quick to respond to our emails with any questions we had. The location is far out west, if you’re coming from the heart of Houston, but it was easy to find for our guests and it’s a straight shot on I-10. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful! You don’t need a lot of decorations—the soft color flooring and the vine- covered lighting already gives a romantic, polished look. We also appreciated that if there wasn’t an event booked, we were able to come early to set-up any decorations and clean-up/pick-up any personal decorations and belongings the next day. This isn’t the case for most venues as they have a certain amount of time for set-up/tear-down, which is usually only the day of your event. The groomsmen and bridal room was nice. If you have a larger wedding party, it will be a little tight. Our feedback would be a larger groomsmen and bridal rooms would have been nice, just so you have enough room to get ready as well as some sort of lock keypad on the doors, so we would feel safer not having to worry about things getting taken (FYI, nothing was taken from our rooms). On the day of the wedding, we had planned an outdoor ceremony. Unfortunately, it rained, so we did have to go with an indoor ceremony. Sherry was there to allow us to make a decision the day of and to ensure everything went smoothly. The day of coordinator, Ginger, arrived later and was there the rest of the night. We were really sad that we had to have an indoor ceremony, but it still ended up being such an intimate setting. It was tight, as we had about 160 guests, but they made it work. Ginger was such a delight to work with. She was always quick to take action and made sure things went smoothly. It was such a blessing to have our family and friends gather at the beautiful venue of White Oaks to celebrate our wedding. Thank you to Sherry, Ginger, and White Oaks for being a part of our special day!

I had my wedding at White Oaks on the Bayou in September 2016. I have no words to describe how perfect and amazing everything was. The place is absolutely gorgeous and my guests loved it. So many people came to me to congratulate me on finding such a beautiful and cozy venue for my wedding and to tell me they were completely unaware they could find a place like this just outside of Houston, TX. I could go on and on about all the beautiful details at White Oaks, but I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Instead, I will focus on the parts of the experience which cannot be seen in the photographs: 1. Dealing with everyone at White Oaks was a pleasure, especially Sherry. She was absolutely awesome. Any time I had a question, I would shoot her an email and minutes later I would get a reply. Being responsive is one thing, but Sherry is on a whole other level! Not only would the response come in a heartbeat, but she was always working so hard to accommodate all my requests and wishes and helped me with anything and everything she could, and I will never be able to be thank her enough for all her hard work. 2. Another great thing about White Oaks is that they partner with Café Natalie for catering, who is also great to work with, reasonably priced, and provide amazingly delicious food. It was difficult to choose our menu because everything we tried was so delicious! 3. One big advantage of having our wedding at White Oaks on the Bayou was that we could hire bartenders and buy the beverages ourselves. That was a huge money saver and we could get all the luxurious beverages we wanted to serve at wedding and not break the bank. In summary, there was nothing I wish had been different: the place was gorgeous, the people a pleasure to work with, the food was delicious, and the bar was under budget and had everything we wanted. I couldn’t have asked for more. The most amazing night of my entire life! And I really have to thank the people at White Oaks for this!

White Oaks is a picturesque new venue located just a few miles west of Katy; the perfect canvas to host any memorable event! Sitting on 32 acres, horses graze near the front of the property and a serene creek flows just beyond their outdoor patio (which is beautifully lit up with strings of lights). As local vendor, also located in Simonton (ReLuvd Vintage Rentals) Ive had the opportunity to work the venue already and I can honestly attest to how friendly, professional, and helpful the staff is. They allow you to choose the vendors you prefer which is such a nice option for both the DIYer and pickiest of brides! If you dont know where to start they have a list of trusted vendors as well. White Oaks is obviously a fabulous choice for your wedding... but calling it a wedding venue would be an extremely limited statement; it has so much more potential!!! I can foresee many birthday, anniversary, and celebratory parties being held here as well! Im delighted to have such a wonderful addition to our community!

I had my wedding in December 2016 and the venue was one of the best aspects of it. Everything was beautiful and accommodating. They had a fireplace for S’mores and the ceremony site did not need very much decoration to look great! They even let us do lanterns and fireworks outside, which I thought was very cool. The bride and grooms rooms were comfortable and pretty. They had a required caterer, but their food was tasty and their service was great! White Oaks made my wedding look really beautiful; overall, no qualms about the venue!

Such a refreshing new venue in the Katy area. I booked my wedding here for spring 2017 & Its been such a great process. The location that White Oaks has on the water is just so gorgeous. I can not waiiiiiit to get married here!!!!
