I can honestly say this is one of the WORST courses I have ever played!!! I played at 2 pm on a Friday it was $30 for the twilight fee but on top of that is a cart fee of $20!!! I have never seen this, I have played at Avery Ranch at 9 am for the same price which is a much better course. The course isnt in nice enough quality to pay $50 in the mid afternoon, the greens were not great but playable along with the fairways being okay. My main problem is the over zealous attitude of the staff to have the audacity to charge me $50 to play their course in a sub par condition that it is in. The range is ridiculous too, you have to practice for what you would think to be the most pristine golf course in the area at the rates they are charging on some of the oldest grossed mats that I have ever seen. It is outrageous, with what they are charging they should have a nice range or at least better greens and fairways. The pace of play is terrible too. I played through the front nine with breeze, the group in front of me were doing great, faster than the 2 hour and fifteen minute course requirement. Then when I got to the 10th hole, the group in front of me played through the group in front of them and I ended up behind some beginners. Look I understand that they were not very good, its golf, it is a very hard sport to play but there is a limit, the pace of play was atrocious. I thought on several occasions that a player assistant would have told them to play faster. In conclusion, there are multiple course in the area that are worth playing than this course, I would understand if Avery Ranch charged these rates because it is a much better course and has the right to charge these rates, but Teravista, you do not have the right to conduct highway robbery. I would recommend Star Ranch or Avery Ranch, maybe even Forest Creek (which is sad to say due to the very poor condition that Forest Creek is in right now) than this course.

Ashley, the head pro (woman) does not do good business. I canceled my $79/month Players Club membership and was traveling for 3 weeks and could not come into the club to officially cancel with signed paperwork, but the golf shop employee I spoke with assured me Ill take care of it and you wont be charged again and well wave the 30 day notice and just cancel you out. Long story short I was hit for 2 more months of billing and dont check my checking account statements every day and when I saw it I called in to explain hey this was improperly charged, and they never took care of it. I tried getting in touch with management for 3 consecutive days and kept getting the run around and Ashley would not call me back and all her messages were funneled through the pro shop and relayed back to me when I called each time. Really? Are you a fortune 500 CEO and cant take 5 minutes to resolve a customer issue? Screw this place. Both Teravista and Avery have incompetents running the show. Now I gotta go waste more of my time to dispute these charges.

Nice course. Windy days can be hazardous to your golf ball. Plays as a semi-links type course. Typically in good shape. The maintenance staff has done a decent job of repairing some damaged greens. Costs are comparable to others in the area --<$40 (twilight). Staff is always pleasant. Have heard that cost savings measures are being enacted -- no more free warm up balls at driving range. Cannot walk -- very long distances from greens to tees. Pace of play can get slow -- 4 1/2 - 5 hrs. Holes 11 and 12 are tough. Although a residential community course the homes are rarely in play unless you hook or slice in terrific fashion. Not a 5 star course (think Augusta and Pebble) by any stretch of the imagination but worth the chance to play if you get time. As a note -- I wish that reviewers were a little more reserved in their praise of golf courses -- dont give a course a 5 if you shot your career best score there. Some people actually read these reviews and use them as a basis of choice.

Ive played here 3 times and the pace of play is consistently atrocious. It doesnt matter if its a weekday or weekend, Teravista has no problem scheduling groups every 7 mins, including 5-somes, and taking $50 of your money while you sit thru a 6hr round. By the 4th hole there are 3 groups on the tee box, 2 in the fairway, and 1 walking off the green. The pro shop will lie to your face claiming a 4hr pace. And to top it off, they wont give you a refund, only a raincheck so you can come back and waste more of your time. There are other nice courses in the area, so Id avoid this one.

Great, fun and challenging. I dont understand the complaints about it being windy. Weather conditions are a fun part of golf. Sometimes it helps. Sometimes it hurts. As hot as it is in Texas I usually welcome some breeze. The staff is good but maybe spotty at times . The one person Id like to single out is Bill. It doesnt get any better than Bill. Dont ever let Bill leave.

Nice workers, good customer service, course condition is okay but the prices are absolutely ridiculous. A small range basket is almost $10 and the range is in terrible shape. Definitely recommend going somewhere with a better rep because youll pay the same.

Stepped in for a bite to eat as they boast having some food there, only to ask most of the staff where was the cafe/restaurant. Only for no one o tell us. Dont have a sign that hints at having food, but then have no one where it is.

Layout is very nice and challenging from the tips. Clubhouse and staff are friendly. Greens were recently air rated and they didnt tell me yet still charged me $70 to play. I would have gladly paid that with nice greens.

Im an inexperienced golfer trying to teach his 2 boys the game. Teravista is great and very helpful. The only place in town willing to give a price break for high school kids on the team. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful course, friendly staff, cart attendant comes around often while out playing. Need to fix the driving range though. Just full of sand and not ideal. If youve never been I recommend you check it out!

Oh how I love Teravista. One day my husband hopes to live there. Staff here is great, and the course is very well taken care program. PDP program is also good - I definitely recommend. Tough and fun course!

Course was in TERRIBLE condition. No trees to block the wind, and they dont bother to have rough on the course--one cut of grass only. Not worth the price, so dont believe the website.

Good track, can be long. Moves okay but could be faster. Some holes are a tad cooked with houses so if not straight, could be issue. Greens break less than read typically.
