My family and I have been enjoying this rodeo for almost 30 years. We attended the July 15 show and had a great time. There were a couple of things that I was extremely disappointed in: the lady directing traffic upon entry was rude and and very short with my husband. When the last event (bull-riding) began, the people in front of us were holding up there smart phones, videoing the event. None of my family could see around them. I asked one of the staff if they could ask them to lower their phones and I was informed there werent able to do that. Really?? We paid $38 per seat. The rodeo is always a great time, it would just be good if they had a no videoing/pictures policy if people cant just be courteous of others!

The rodeo was a fun experience up until the clown came out with a poncho and a sombrero hat and exclaimed he "had to go back to Mexico because he had a wall to build" The people who run this place should know that some of the crowd is from hispanic decent as well as half of their employees are hispanic. This ruined my entire night. I really wanted to leave and ask for a refund but my boyfriend asked me to stay and finish watching the show. I ONLY ask that these kinds of jokes dont get thrown around when half the crowd is hispanic. This is the only reason i am giving it a 1 star

We took our in laws to the rodeo when they were in town from Florida. I had never been either so I was skeptical. I was pleasantly surprised. The show was very entertaining. At the beginning it was a little slow going from one event to the next, but thankfully as the show went on it got better and better. From a We had a great time. I highly recommend to take the family. I will say that compared to the Houston Rodeo this was amateur hour. But it was very entertaining.

This was a blast. I am not an everyday rodeo kind of guy. My girlfriend and I moved to Austin a few months ago. She had never been to the Mesquite rodeo and we decided to spend a weekend in Dallas and see the sights. We purchased the dinner and rodeo package. BBQ, beer and bulls. We really had a good time watching the event. It was entertaining and exciting. Even if you dont wear boots and a big buckle, I would suggest a visit to the Rodeo.

Resistol Arena is one of the very best rodeo arenas around Dallas for Handicapped/wheelchair users. There are very small thresholds going into pro shop and ramps to get you everywhere you to go. The ramp to the stands is a little steeper than normal but not bad at all. We have had a great time everytime we have gone to the PBR and PRCA Rodeos.

Lots of security all over the facility, inside and out.... It doesnt matter what kind of event they have, its always a great place to enjoy with friends and family.... Five stars are well deserved and much more....

Its been a while since Ive been but the arena is great! The rodeo stock looked like they were gather from someones pasture. Used to be a great place to go for a good nights entertainment but not any more.

The Hip Hop Rodeo in Mesquite is the place to be enjoyed, entertained, laugh, smile, dance, and just plain fun. It was very exciting to see the horse riding, bull bucking, calf roping event.
