I am giving it one star because that is what our experience was. But, it could have been a very good experience with just a little forethought and effort by those running the game. I took 3 kids and they were excited to play but the game was well thought out and it was difficult. So, we struggled and struggled and got help a couple of times. Then, the guy comes in and says "times up", sorry. He then shows us all this cool stuff we would have seen had we made it to the end. What a letdown and terrible feeling. All he would have had to do is keep us on track with help to where we could experience the whole game to the end. Then it would have been really fun even though we would not have solved very many clues on our own. Instead, for almost $90 for one hour of entertainment, i would never go again to be made to feel that way.

A couple of friends and I did the Doll House room last weekend. The set design was pretty fun. The puzzles were all solid but there was a reliance on one type of lock that was a little disappointing. The room was relatively easy but told a coherent story. The guys at A Room with a Clue were nice and helpful when asking for hints. If youre heading out to Deep Ellum to spend the day I would definitely recommend using an hour here.

The games here are delightful and imaginative. Ive played a bunch of escape games and these dont try to copy what everyone else does. They stand out as uniquely fun creations and the owners passion shows through. The staff is so friendly and I love they way they interacted with us throughout the experience.

Had such a great time the first time we went twice ...doll house was my favorite so far...not so hard u wont figure out the clues...went with friends but seriously considering for a team building event for worm

Back open in a better location. My wife and I are big puzzle room fans. The Theater is the most well done room weve played. Cant wait to play more rooms!

Very challenging escape rooms. More puzzle and less pizazz. This is not escaping from SAW, but rather putting together a piece of Ikea furniture from hell.

This was my first escape room experience and well we did not escape in time it was a great Saturday night activity with friends
