Its was amazing. Its very interesting and its important too see the history where you live or just want to visit its important to learn about your roots and the Rio Grande Valley is my home its where my family is from its where I originate the,past has created the present of when we live it is a important time to remember the times of boats and sail boats that crossed the Great River its a big part of history it is very important I loved my visit at the museum it was truly great

Beautiful architecture and great experience if you want to get in touch with the origins of the Rio Grande Valley. Probably the largest and most sophisticated museum in South Texas, it houses an impressive collection of artifacts that in capsulate the essence of the RGV. A good experience overall, i just wish the museum had even more room to grow and expand its magnificent collection.

This museum is s amazing! Its a shame they dont advertise it. My son who is 4 really enjoyed it, we had a fun time exploring, playing and learning! Not to mention we went through the museum three times and he was sad to leave because it was close to closing time. For sure we will visit it again!

This place is just awesome I remember coming here as a child before all the new renovations I still have fond memories coming with my grandfather Benny calvillo he volunteered for many years here he loved this place as it was his own

Loved this little museum. Everything was excellently presented. The sounds for each section was a nice touch. Kid friendly hands-on displays are well thought out. Everyone evolved should be very proud.
