My husband & I were returning from a family reunion in Wimberly, TX & had seen Bell Springs Winery signs on our way down. We made a note so we could make sure to stop by on our way back. We drove through some beautiful country to their location & tasted (& purchased) some wonderful wine. The owner was very friendly & knowledgeable. He also gave us directions to another local winery. If you are in this area, this winery is a MUST VISIT to put on your list! Paulette & Bill Black

This is my favorite spot on the Hill Country Wine Trail so far. The grounds are really pretty, and they often have someone playing live music out on their deck. For around $6 you get six 1 oz tastes of wine, and if you decide to buy a bottle then you get your tastes for free. Try the Riesling when its available or my recent fave their voignier.

The tasting room is on the small side but the tasting price is affordable ($7 for the flight) and the outside space is so lovely! The wines are on the sweet side (seems like most TX wines fall into that category) but the reds are solid. Several in our group got full glasses of the zinfandel. There is plenty of seating outside!

Dripping Springs is a gorgeous area that has lots of choices for wineries. There are many options to take tour buses to the different wineries. There is usually someone singing with an acoustic guitar and it really sets the mood. You can bring a blanket and have a very peaceful picnic with your wine tasting.

This was 1 of the last wineries on our weekend tour. Its kind of out of the way off of Bell Springs Road. It was very nice though small and comfortable. Tge young lady singing live music out on the deck was very talented. Great time here would definitely recommend this 1 on your tour.

The host, on 12/31/15, was knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. The wine was excellent and priced fairly. Even the glasses you get with your tasting are high quality! There was no live music, but the place looks primed and ready for a great afternoon. Well be back soon!

Compared to other wineries nearby, this place fell short in the service department. We were pretty much ignored, needing to flag someone down each time in order to get a pour. The folks pouring the wine did so wordlessly. It was not crowded at the time.

Extremely laid back winery that has good wines without any of the pretentiousness. Great outdoor seating where you can relax with a bottle of wine. Food truck was on premise if you got hungry but they also offer meat and cheese boards.

I have just started touring the Hill Country wineries, but i already know this will be on the top of the list. I became a wine club member. Later in the day I went to the Driftwood Estates, but I enjoyed Bell Springs better.

I went with a couple girlfriends this past weekend, and had a great time! Loved all the tastings we had, and the patio was a great environment to enjoy a glass. I cannot wait to go back with my husband for a fun afternoon!

Awesome staff. Great wine. Beautiful setting. Bring a picnic lunch, buy a bottle of wine and enjoy both sitting on the back patio listening to some good music. Perfect way to spend an afternoon.

This is a very good hill country winery. Its a smaller place with lots of spaces outdoors to sit and enjoy the wine. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming.

Bell Springs is great place to unwind, enjoy the music and sip on great wine. They have plenty of shaded seating and it is never crowded or rushed.

A bit disappointed honestly. No vineyard, no view. Wine was good, but imported from cali. Expected "local flavor". The staff was very nice though.

Very nice grounds and tasting room. Wines tend toward the sweet side as do many Texas wineries.
