I had a review on here that I wrote years ago complaining about the course being unfriendly to twilight players. I have since moved closer to the course and started playing there occasionally again. It seems as though they are much less likely to turn you away if you show up a couple hours before dark as they did before. As far as the course goes, its a bargain. Something like $12 to walk 9 holes, and unless things have changed, an extra $1 to play them again (its a 9 hole course). Cart rental obviously increases that cost a little. The course is quite hilly, so be prepared for a workout if you do walk the course. Its not so bad w/ a push cart, though. The fairways are in pretty good shape, but be prepared for some crab grass here and there. The greens are in ok shape - they are quite a bit slower than most and the geese do their best to ruin them, but the staff seems to do their best to fix the damage they cause. The species is protected, so this is just a reality for them. Most holes on the course are somewhat short - you really dont need to get the driver out all that much. I usually only use it on the 1st, 5th, 6th, and 9th, but Id probably have a more consistent score if I used an iron on the 6th and 1st (the 6th is a dogleg left w/ OB to the left and trees on the right - the first is a similar situation, with range balls making it difficult to find the ball if you slice). Point being, if you spray the ball, youre more likely to lose it in the woods than send it on the adjacent fairway, so drive conservatively if youre trying to shoot low.

Ive read several bad reviews about this course yet played it several times. last sunday we went out and payed to play at 3:30 told the cart needed to be back at 4:45 we skipped the last 2 holes to be on time., Wed I played, skipped a hole to let the grounds guy do his thing..talked to him later a very nice guy. Today Saturday a beautiful day we get there at 3.Pm The guy in the club house tells us we cant play they shut down at 2:30 . On a beautiful day ,after spending tax dollors to cut the grass, after going there several times being very respectful after spending hard earned money. Today was my last effort of going there. Ill gladly spend my money else where

Been going to the NASCAR race in Bristol, TN for 15 years now and was completely lucky to run into this course. Prices are ridiculously cheap along with great golf and beautiful views. I will be golfing there tomorrow, cant wait.

Enjoyable experience! We arrived late and there was a nice man that was kind enough to let us still purchase balls and hit them all at the driving range. He also had clubs for the kids to borrow and gave us some free tees.
