I went to Golden Park skating Rink at 915pm. It was my first time going to a skating rink since I moved from the Columbia and Sumter area. Which down there they have great experiences there for familys and professional skaters. I went expecting to enjoy myself but I was by far disappointed with the 8.00 I spent going there. From the moment I walked through the door, it was poorly executed. I dont know what place that doesnt take debit cards. I had to leave and get cash because they dont do card. Once I got in, trash was everywhere kids were running all over the place even on the skating floor with no skates on. SAFETY AND ORGANIZATION IS A PROBLEM HERE! No floor guard to maintain safety. Two boys were about to fight and they were completely clueless. Food was bad!! Gum and trash were all over th skating floor. The floor was not polished or buffed I almost fell because of two cracks in the floor. Not to mention the music. I dont want to get started there!!! As a skater, you would think you can kind of go anywhere and make the best of it and enjoy yourself. Nopre not the case here. This business should do a better job. They have the potential to create more money and target way more ppl of they change there ways. Do you know know of your many opportunities you have to grow in Greenville being the only rolling skating rink??!

awful! I havent been bowling in years, so I decided to go to this nearby bowling alley and get back into doing something I used to like to do... well the first time I came in I went up to the desk and failed to see a sign that told of bowling leagues that evening... I stood infront of an older woman...and she just blankly stared at me with a nasty look...and I asked to bowl, "we have league" is all she said and that they would be full till 9pm... then she turned away from me...so I left. I came back a few nights later and the place was full at 930 still w/the leagues and the places was full of smoke and the employees yet again ignored me and were just goofing off. Seriously if these ppl wanted business theyre screwing themselves over royally because im all about customer service and a smoke free environment. I couldnt even breathe in there!!!!

This review doesnt reflect the bowling alley, never had any issues there. But the skating rink was a terrible experience. We had my daughters birthday party here yesterday. The staff was rude and unapologetic. They dont take debit because apparently its still 1985, so we were unable to buy any more of their overpriced food, seeing as how they give a party of 10 kids and their parents 2 pizzas to split between them all. We were offered to go use the ATM in front of the bowling alley, because paying a $3 fee to buy a $10 pizza and a $6 pitcher of sprite is awesome. Needless to say, we wont be back for another party, it wasnt worth the money or even half the money that we paid, and Id advise you to use the bowling alley for a party.

Bowled in 2 leagues last year, Summer league and Fall League. This places reeks of cigarette smoke and all the smoke during bowling choked me to death, clogged my nose and gave me a headache. I could NOT bring my grandchild with me because of all the smoke. We heard that there would be no smoking this year, but just found out that they will allow it after all...shame on Golden Lanes...the second hand smoke is damaging the non-smokers...I WILL NOT bowl here again, all of the other bowling alleys in the area are smoke free... Wont be surprised to see some lawsuits here soon for second hand smoke claims.

They messed up our reservation start time and almost ruined a 10 year old bday party. Towards the end while we were cleaning up/wrapping up we heard over the loud speaker "Can yall leave" which is very rude and disrespectful on so many levels especially while were spending our hard earned money. Not to mention they dont have any training equipment for skating beginners. Ill never spend a dime or walk back into this establishment. I purposely came to this location to prevent any non sense that normally occurs at the other skating rink, but I see you are all the same. You guys SUCK!!!!!!!!

Bottom of the barrel. They dont take debit cards, which is ridiculous for this day & time. Very dirty, gum ALL over the floors, no soap or paper towels in dispensers. The first 20-30 mins of being there we were listening to some sort of sci fi documentary. I had to ask where the music was. Lights stayed on the whole time up until about 10 mins before we left and they played the same songs over & over & over... Also, they dont swap your shoes out for skates so there were shoes ALL over the place. Will not go back.

Terrible!!! The staff that were there need an attitude adjustment! Not one person smiled or said anything polite. It looked like they were being forced to be there!!! Customer service was not on the top of their list!!!!! My son fell and landed on the step the leads to the rink and his arm swelled. We asked for ice and they said NO!!! They dont help hurt people!!! REALLY????? Save your money!!!! Unless you want to be treated like crap

Service attendant guy was more interested in paying attention to the other girl that worked there than taking our payment to play. They could hire a better guy at the register last Sunday at opening time. He did not even pay attention to the shoes that he gave my daughter that had a huge hole at the toe and were falling apart. Get someone that wants the job and pays attention to details for the customers!

Surprisingly large wood floor. Looks like it is in disrepair, but actually a very good skating floor. Smooth, not as hard as a concrete floor. Lots of room on the sides too. VERY GOOD Pizza! Great staff and decent skates for rent. They even have high quality skates you can rent for more. It LOOKS LIKE a two star place when you walk in, but honestly it is a fun, good quality experience, skating rink.

It was horrible. I just had my daughters 5th birthday there last Saturday. The skates were falling apart and they didnt have beginner skates of poll to help them with. They pizza was nasty and they were rude. I will not ever go back. For the to charge as much as they do for the partys they should put the money to something useful instead of paying little teenagers to work and play around.

Perfect example of what happens when a business fails to invest in the building. Run down, trashy, and sinks. For the amount they charge and the low wages they pay their employees they should invest in keeping it up, rather than hiding the problems by keeping the lights dimmed low. Not to mention they have more Greenville county cops here that should be out doing something useful.

One of the worst places Ive ever been. Nasty bathrooms, nasty staff, owner rude and wouldnt disclose his rules. Told everyone he didnt have to tell us his rules. Called the police because he was called a redneck. Proof is in the pudding. Holes all in the floor. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.! RUINED THE CHILDRENS BIRTHDAY PARTY!!! He lost all of those parents business!!!
