We have come to really enjoy this airplane themed park! My youngest is very much into planes, so being able to play AND watch local planes takeoff is a win-win for us! There is a nice picnic shelter that can accommodate several people. It can be reserved for special occasions, just contact the Greenville Rec. Otherwise, there are some benches but without shade. This park is not well shaded, so plan accordingly. Make sure you bring any ride on toys for the little ones, there is a path for it! Everything is fenced in but the entrance is not gated. Have lunch at The Runway Cafe right next to it for a full aviary experience!

This is a fun place to take the kids. Yu get to see lots of airplanes take off if the weather is nice. There is a picnic shelter which is sometimes reserved by families but other times anyone can use it. There are two big playsets one for kids 1-5 and the other for kids 6-12 or so. There is a little concrete path for scooters and trikes. There is some room to play soccer. BRING SUNSCREEN because there is little shade. On windy days there is little shelter so bring a jacket. They just put in a new nice bathroom but I have not been inside yet.

Wonderful! Plenty of play space thats fully fenced in with only one way in and out, making it easy to keep an eye on the kiddos. Multiple climber apparatuses of differing difficulty for kids of various ages. Access, within the fenced area, to two single-stall/room bathrooms with an exterior water fountain. Sheltered picnic tables. AND, a wonderfully clear view of the runway where all sorts of planes are landing and taking off all day. We loved it, and will be back.

Great place for kids to play and watch small planes take off and land. The day we were there, someone was taking lessons and doing multiple take-offs and touch-down landings, so lots of activity. Also, the bi-plane picked up a passenger right at the park. If you go during the summer, go in the early morning as there is no shade on the playground. The restaurant is right there or there is a large covered shelter for picnics.

This park was my favorite while in Greenville. Its Airport-themed and you can watch small planes takeoff and land just a few hundred yards away. Let your kids ride their bike around the track that circles the park and definitely encourage them to run up the "runway" that goes right through the middle of the park. My two girls loved it here.

Nice little park for parents and kids to play and watch the planes take off and land. There is a sheltered picnic area and several groups of playground equipment geared for different ages. Entrance and exit is isolated to a single area, so kids can easily be contained within the park with little risk of escaping from a distracted parent.

This is a great park with a magnific view. There is lots of space for the kiddos to play. There is a big tent with a decent amount of table to have parties of any kind and you can reserve it too. You and your family can enjoy seeing the planes taking off and landing.

We appreciate this park and the location is absolutely perfect for us. I only wish that more people would fund the park so that coverings can be put up. The equipment gets extremely hot in the sun and makes it unsafe for use after a long hot day.

Excellent park! The playgrounds are are good for elementary and younger. There is room to run around as well. There fence encompasses the whole park with a single gate. There is a large covered picnick area as well.

Cute park with airplane themed playground gear and educational signs. It is right next to the south ramp of the GMU airport and a little restaurant. You can watch the planes take off and enjoy lunch at the cafe.

Your kids will love this place. Watch planes take off and land, awesome plane theimed playground, plenty of shade, enclosed bike track for the kids and a great little cafe on site. Public bathrooms as well

Neat place for younger kids with cool playground and planes taking off..has a nice sitting area to watch the planes on the runway. My 11 and 9 yo were bored pretty fast. Plenty of parking.

I was here working, but Ive heard the food is good and I know 1st hand; the parking lot is full every day starting around 11:15 and tapering off sometime after 3:00? You make the call!

This park is fantastic. Well worth flying in to spend time at the park and there is a nice restaurant on the ramp. It ended up being the perfect place to watch the 2017 eclipse.

Beautiful park right next to the airport runway. Different playground structures suited for multiple age groups all with an aviation theme. Great place to bring the kids.

One of the best parks in Greenville. Fenced in so you can let kids have a little more freedom. Getting to see real planes take off and land is a big plus.

This is a very diverse playground in terms of activities. But it is wide out in the open. So be aware of that if you are wind or sun sensitive.
