i think im set on the haunted house front for the rest of my life. my friends forced me into the front position as we huddled together and dared to delve into the INSANITY that is ghostly manor. unlike most haunted houses- which are pretty much just pitch black with the occasional coffin scene to the side or scary guy jumping out at you- ghostly manor puts you right in the middle of the action. exorcist-themed room? how about you have to walk right around the bed? creepy autopsy scene? they make you weave in and out of all the exam tables. WATCH OUT! they might not all be dead... and then there was one sight, one sight so horrifying, we were stopped dead in our tracks. "where do we go from here?" a shrouded figure pointed to the wall of incredibly realistic-looking body bags. "uhh, NO." the figure pointed again. "but there must be another way!" we pleaded. the figure assured us that there was not. so we took a deep breath and plunged in. this was not just a wall; this was a SEA. a most terrifying experience that is forever burned into my memory. i dont want to talk about it anymore. now all we wanted was a way out of this torture chamber. fear, exhaustion, and instinct must have pulled us through the rest of the maze, for no one remembers much of what happened after the bags. we finally escaped, drenched in sweat, panting. in the middle of a... wait for it... skating rink. oh yeah, i forgot thats how we came in. i could never have imagined what was lying behind the entrance to ghostly manor. it is BY FAR the most elaborate, longest, scariest, and absolutely most fun and satisfying haunted house that i have ever had the balls to endure. next time you visit cedar point, save some time to get the crap scared out of you.

This place is great for kids and adults. We took 4 adults no kids, we passed on the $25 thrill pass because we werent roller skating and it was a little cheaper to choose our own attractions. So we did the Haunted House, Wizards Journey 3D Mini Golf, and 3 movies on the XD Motion Theater. Our total cost was $34 per person. The golf was nothing special, just black light putt putt, but it wasnt bad either. The haunted house and motion theater were great! The young man running the haunted house was very good at his job, and yes he was the only person but it is set up that way and he did fabulous! He made it more fun because he played with us, surprising us at every corner, not scary, but startling and lots of excitement. The motion theater is really cool, it almost feels like a real roller coaster and after 3 movies we were almost convinced it was real. The young man running that was helpful and showed us how to get the most out of the experience before we started. The only thing we didnt like about the whole place is the lack of air conditioning, or it not being on. We were there in Feb but it was 70 degrees for like 3 days and it was very hot in there. For a place that has that many people and gets hot enough that the staff are wearing shorts in Feb, I feel like something more could have been done to make the temperature more comfortable. Maybe the owner didnt turn it on due to the time of year but I would have given 5 stars if I didnt sweat from the time I walked in until I left. Anyway we had an amazing time and we have been telling everybody about it since. We will definitely come back for Fearfest!

Decent impromptu adventure. We saw two XD movies and played in the arcade. The XD movies are a little hard to see since they have a light on above the screen, and the rocking of the chairs can be a little painful for necks or large busted women. You can always have them stop the rocking of the chairs though. I loved the haunted mine movie! The underwater one was pretty lame and short. Not worth the money. Some of the arcade games stole swipes without letting us play. The haunted house part is known to be ranked 4th in the nation according to the employees. You can have the actors leave and just go through with the animatronics if you think the actors would be too scary. Unfortunately one of the employees had an awful attitude. As someone who works in customer service, I have/would never treat any of my customers that way. Ignoring the nasty and unnecessary attitude, I would rate this place a 3/5. Theres something fun for every age, but it did have a few disappointments.

Please do not waste your money! My husband and I along with our two children visited the Ghostly Manor when on a road trip through Sandusky and we were extremely disappointed. The haunted area may be nice but we didnt even get that far as we ended up giving up our tickets to another family. This place is very dated and reminds me of a small town roller rink. The prices seemed fair when we first saw their flyer but unfortunately you pay before you even enter the main area so they trick you a bit. We knew as soon as we walked in the main door (after paying) we were just robbed of out money. They get you in there with their nice looking advertisements but this place is nothing like what they advertise.

The staffs have attitude issues. We were told it would be a 15 minute wait. But we waited 40 minutes for the haunted house because they forgot that we were waiting. The place was practically empty. How can they not see us sitting there waiting. They have the nerve to argue and try to justify stating that they werent aware that we were waiting. In addition , one of the staffs didnt like the fact that my nephew switched from skates to a scooter. He had an attitude about that. We didnt mind the wait but their attitudes were over the top. It messed up our night so we left.

I took my youngest son to the black light mini golf. They gave him 3D glasses the experience was the most unique and best black light golf Ive been too. The skating rink looked very large and in good condition. My husband and older son did the haunted house and they really liked it, and its hard to pleasey husband. I would recommend this attraction. Prices are normal for the attractions not overly pricey. We didnt eat there, so Im not sure how the food or prices for food are.

Took the kids here for a friends birthday, they LOVED IT!! They both had never been skating before but being there made getting out on the floor with skates comfortable! One loves skating now and the other loves that she never has to put skates on ever again because she knows when we go here she can get a scooter! And then for the price, we like the fact that they werent just committed to just skating. The could bounce or climb as well.

tourist trap! i feel cheated out of $160! completely confusing on prices and attractions, severley overpriced on games, drinks and snacks! got sold tickets for golf and they knew it was down before we walked in and would not refund our money for it. skates had shoelaces that were too short to lace up. put this money towards a real attraction! feel like we walked out of there with $160.00 slinky...
