Sanctuary is the most beautiful course we played on our 2 week Hilton Head vacation. Irs about an hour from the island but absolutely worth the drive. A fair and playable layout with enough challenge to satisfy most any golfer. Nice facilities, friendly staff and the views the views the views! We played there twice and then went back for our last day before leaving. Our area fave. -Boston Travellers

The Hunchback of ND was right....Sanctuary is Excellent....from the beautiful entrance road from Ladys Isl..to the challenging bayous on 3, 4, 5 6, and 7....Loved the bird island of #10....both par 3s on the back 9 were challenging water holes, # 16 was particularly, spectacular....as well as. Par 4, #17....This course was alot of challenging fun...cant wait to return next February!!

Nice track with some really great holes. Greens in good condition. Fairways are ok. I play there about twice a month. I like it, but its not a "must play" course that you should travel out of your way to play.
