Just had my daughters birthday party there today and I will never have another party there again. She had the over priced glow party my time was 7:30 to 10pm. We got there at 7:20 the table was not decorated ... they say we set up the table up really nice and make it glow in the dark. Well I waited a black cloth paper black paper plates with spot that never glowed cause the lights were not dimmed is not decorations. They said I would have a host .. well she was still collecting tickets at the door and kept telling me she will be with me in a minute what a joke didnt I pay for a host ? She belonged to me for 2 1/2 hours which I did not get. The pizza was late and I kept asking for it. My Daughter didnt even get acknowledged by the dj and the glow in the dark skate sucked. The place crowded unorganized staff trying to do two jobs at once so of course I got neglected and kept trying to find my host.. false advertising and I paid over 500 for a bull crap glow in the party for 15 kids that my table was set up for 10 kids they forgot my ice cream cause my host didnt even remember I had he ultimate package not only my party sucked the security guard was kicking every body out at 10:28 when his staff Was unorganized and mess up the party. If you cant handle big parties or have organized staff that actually remember instead of doing other jobs instead of focusing On my table that I paid for thAn dont accept my money...I do not recommend this place to anyone. They are not equipped to handle parties or Just dont care ... and ps the extra ice cream I got cause I got forgotten does not make up for the 500 I spend .. fool me once shame on you fool me twice never .. parents dont do it

I was at Rolling Thunder Skating Rink with MYA (Middle Young Alternative) School. It was about 200 6th 7th &8th graders there. Ive never seen kids & adults enjoy there selves so much. With these special needs kids, the staff showed so much care for them but yet still treated them like regular kids. They Skated, Played games, especially the boy girl race... that was fun cool and a great time for all the kids. They rode the rides, HAD GREAT FOOD! Did this AWESOME LAZER GLOW IN THE DARK SKATE. Had a fun friendly basketball shootout contest with the DJ, Who was AMAZING! This DJ was funny, energetic, & stayed engaged & involved with the kids and adults. All of the staff were very caring with smiles (nice ones too) lol. As we where leaving i had to use the bathroom witch was SO NICE NEAT & CLEAN. It reminded me of a 5 star Hotels bathroom. Overall an AMAZING time & AWESOME experience. I can not WAIT to come back with my family! Defiantly a great day of fun! All this in 3 hours... "ITS AS GOOD AS IT GETS!"

Cant say I really enjoy the place. It was dirty the management was terrible & the staff rude. I always come here but Im only going to come if the manager with the braids is working. He seems to have more control of the staff than the other managers. The only good thing I can say is that the kitchen staff was good. The light skinned young man with the ponytail was polite, smiled, & got my food to me in a reasonable time. He also has patience because there were some rude people & he handled himself. The djs play good music I especially like the young man and see square. They have a lot of energy & always interact with the kids. Would give it a five if the staff wasnt rude & the other managers knew how to run their shift.

I had a party for my daughter turning 8. It was set for 1-330. I got there at 1 and they had just opened and took 30 min for the host to settle all down. Thankfully my guests were late. The bathrooms are dirty and the music inappropriate for kids. One of the guests had a coat and pair of kids boots stolen. I felt really bad for them. Staff did not help. They were however accommodating so I brought my own food and drinks and I think the kids had a good time. I am glad I took the 1pm slot. It got really crowed by the time we were leaving. I dont think I will come back and definitely do not recommend for kids party. The host was nice the rest of the staff poorly educated and unpolite. It did have a "ghetto" feeling to it.

When I had my daughters party there. They were having 25 birthday parties all at one time!!! The kids had fun inside with skating and the rides but never have a birthday party! The table that they gave each party was only 5 x 2. There was no room for my guest to set and eat. No room for us to but the cake, food or gifts. We had to ask the two parties on either side of us if they could move over and they had to ask the next party, etc... I paid all that money for a crapped party! I should have just took five children there and paid for them to skate, ride the rides and tokens. Dont have a birthday party there, just take your children there for a fun time! It is cheaper and you get more for your money!

I was surprised because the staff were attentive, helpful, polite and followed the rules. I have had vastly different experiences in the past because the staff mostly consists of young people. This place would earn more money if they catered to their younger population more. The music is ratchet even on character days. That is fine for teenagers after a certain time, but before 5 they would get more money if the music was not so grown up. There are songs that arent sexually suggestive in music today. There are kids bop edits to every song. Other than that there are groupon discounts and they do dollar pizza and snow cone discounts periodically throughout the day so the cost is not bad.

went here last thursday night on adult night to see what it looked like since they just re-opened..i must say it was poppin!!! the music was great and I had a good time..it was clean it doesnt smell like feet how its formerly known "Jamz" used to & the staff was friendly too...this place just isnt a place for kids but for adults that like to skate and have fun too..if ur an adult that like to skate i would highly recommend Rolling Thunder..they do skate parties for adults too...but bring ya A-game kuz there will be some ppl there tryin to outskate u lol....oh yea did I mention the breadsticks be popppin too?

Screw this place! Constantly loud from the outside, trash in the parking lot, trash inside, this place ruins our what used to be nice neighborhood. Its all people from other neighborhoods that come here then when they leave they act like animals, urinate on peoples property, deface peoples property, and act like God Damn animals, this place needs to burn down! When skating is over get on the bus and go back to your own neighborhood and ruin that not ours! I know this all happens because I live near there and seen it, most recently this past Friday!
