Not worth the 4.5 Golf Digest rating. Played twice the last two months. The tee box, fairway, and greens have tall grass. This I mean relative to what they should be. The tee box and fairway have about 1/4" grass height. On the tee box, I cant bury my tee close to the ground because I end up catching grass at impact. So, I tee it up higher which defeats the purpose of a tight lie for a compression. The same effect happens in the fairway. The greens are slow and fluffy too. A couple of years ago I remember the course used to be so tight and the greens were fast. It is what made it fun. Compared to Wyncote Golf Club the lies are night and day. Even compared to Bella Vista. Disappointing.

Overall, the course wasnt too hard and well maintained, but the rangers were HORRIBLE!!!! we were only a half a hole behind the group infront of us and they were telling us to hurry, and even had the gual to ask us to play the front nine again or skip a hole. We told them they were nuts. The worst part was the threesome behind us was always hitting the ball when we were barely off the green and we almost got hit a couple of times, and they were on their cell phones talking when we were teeing off. The rangers should have been getting on their courtesy and not our "slow" play. Will be a long time, if ever, till i go back.

Decent, fairly wide open course. Some blind shots, hidden bunkers and tall grass make it tough on some holes for those who dont know the course well, even with a SkyCaddie. Biggest problem though - pace of play. It was ATROCIOUS. Was there on a Saturday, tee times wide open, not many people on the course. 5+ hour round. Im sure the marshals were doing what they could, but it didnt work. Really tough to play when youre waiting for 5 minutes on every tee box, and another few on all of your second shots. And if this was the pace on a light day...well, I wont be going back on a weekend, thats for sure.

Interesting course. Very well maintained with close cut but thick roughs, quick but very playable greens, perfect fairways. Front nine links style with forgiving layout, par fives alternate between reachable in two to tough three stroke to green holes. Closing on a long water hazard par three on front nine and par five risk reward strategy on 18th made for challenging closing holes. Reasonable value, Friendly service. Great course.

The best eastern PA public golf course Ive played. Great course conditions and layout with a nearby practice facility. Very reasonable green fees. Turtle Creek is challenging and fair. My only criticism is the 12th hole - a short par 4...the trees on the left side of the fairway can block a short approach to the green even when your drive is in the middle of the fairway. Aside from that, an excellent venue.

Just played 18 on a fairly busy Sunday afternoon. Rate of play was pretty good on the front 9. Back nine got a little backed up but not too bad. Course was very well maintained. Fairways were what I consider excellent. A very long course without a too manyhazards. If you go, make sure you have a sandwich - some of the best rolls EVER. Overall a great day of golf.

This courser was well designed and overall in good shape. Staff was friendly. The rough was thick, and tee boxes in good shape. Youd wish some folks would find and repair their divots, as the greens did have a few dime sized bald spots. Credit to the grounds crew for keeping the course in great shape overall. Planing to return in the future.

Played on a recent Saturday afternoon. Course was in outstanding condition, pace of play was very fast. I really enjoy this course - it doesnt beat up high handicappers, the views are fantastic, and the finishing holes on each nine are great golf holes.

Play was slow and way too expensive for what you are getting. On top of that a nice button up collared shirt was not adequate for their dress code. You need a "golf" shirt to play. Play twin ponds or bella vista for a much better experience.

Way over Priced! Short course which is ok but other courses in area Golden Oaks Cheaper and much nicer with great staff. Turtle Creek has limited food and what was there pretty lame. If it were priced around $30-$35 it would be right.

Way too much dough for the bunkers to be unplayable and the greens are sure bumpy and the ranger will be up your ass the whole time. Way too much money. $68 For unplayable greens and bunkers. Wow!

Fun layout and consistently in above average condition. A good value, but understaffed at club house. There is a pace of play issue at this course. Worse than at most public courses.

This is literally the most OVERRATED course in the Philadelphia area. My recommendation, go to Bella Vista. It is slightly cheaper and the course is significantly better in all facets.

Beautiful well kept public course, the course plan is to wide open with not much of a challenge. Bunkers need work not worth 70 dollars but at 55 it would be worth it!

This is great for a weekend bogey golfer, who still wants to enjoy themselves on an above average course! Not very hard or long but it is always in great condition!
