There are two sections of the park separated by Route 147.. The river side has some permanent structures and is used primarily for events and functions and storage and education. The opposite side has open land and creeks and is a good place to walk and daydream and play Maria in the Sound of Music. The park experience evokes the times your grandmother or great-grandmother told you about. Leave your earphones off and your cell phone in the car, at least for your first visit. And go now before more people discover this unimagined treasure.
