If you want to spend a day or even a few hours wandering the woods, this is a wonderful place to go. There are well kept trails of many lengths, good for hiking, horses or cross country bikes. There is a small camp grounds, neat and tidy and woodsy. There is a fishing pond but no boating. There is hunting in part of the park and it is clearly marked. There are pavilions for picnics and groups. No Alcohol allowed. The rangers that we met love the park and usually are willing to take the time to give you any information you might need or point you to the way to find out. This is a "bring it in bring it out" park. No trash cans along the way but do provide trash bags to carry your trash back to your vehicle.

Stayed the weekend at the youth camp site. Bathroom and laundry room is extremely filthy. This is the second year weve stayed at this park. The grounds are well kept and well kept and serene, but I wish the bathroom can be cleaned especially when the park is aware that a large group is camping for the weekend.

Camping with friends and family is always a good time. This campsite has shower/bath facilities, firepits and picnic tables. No electric or RV sites where we were located, but there seemed to be a variety of features and attractions. We were not there long enough to explore it all.

Several trails that are perfect for walking, horseback riding and bike riding. $3 a car and camping isnt much more. Trails are for everyone since theyre easy to navigate and no longer than 7 miles. Some are as short as 3.

Clean camping pad sites with picnic tables and a fire ring, the sites arent that private probably by design, the sites are regularly patrolled by the Rangers so its really safe and quiet

Hiking/walking trails no clear signage Before I knew it I had walked 5 miles to get back to my car. Weird "pay in a box" to enter the park situation. "Run down" in my opinion

Great place to ride bikes with family! Blue trail was great, a little difficult for 6 yr old but we still made it. About 3miles. No one was out there. Really nice and serene.

Fantastic park! Pretty great showers, fairly easy commute to DC from here. Easy drive in to town but far enough away that you still feel like youre camping.

Very nice, quiet park. Very scenic with long trails, there are camping areas and pavilion/picnic table areas as well as a few amphitheatre areas.

Beautiful trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Would give five stars if downed trees were cleared a bit faster.

Blue trail was a smooth 4 mile jog. Gotta shell out 3$ to 5$ to get in. Also saw a fox.
