Fun park...lots of open space and trails...plenty of parking...bbq pits and covered picnic areas...great updated playground...many places to access the river...calm place to relax. We love the ducks, your not suppose to feed them but we bring bread or seeds anyway because they are so friendly. :)

Beautiful setting along the Willamette River. A very kid and family oriented park. City of Springfield holds all town celebrations and festivals. Wonderful for casual strolls, jogging, or riding your bike as Island Park is connected to the miles of bike trails in the Eugene/Springfield area.

Lovely park, great for a walk by the river with plenty of space to run in the grass or play by the play structure for children, beautiful views of trees and nature with tables and park benches for a picnic during warmer seasons. Would be nice if restrooms were open during colder season.

Its a very nice park, pretty kid and family friendly place. Summer time it gets a lot of traffic, but all and all fun little area. Has great nature trails that will lead you into Eugene and some nice fishing holes.

The park could be awesome and My kids love the playground. But with the drug users and seemingly homeless people down there you cant just relax and play - always on guard against the random cussing delirious guys.

Beautiful scenery, lots of wild life, kids play structure, nature paths, river access, bathroom structure and so many bums gathered in groups you should probably bring a friend when you visit.

Excellent park.kids can play on the water or at the play area. Nice bike paths for the whole family. Lots of shade for those hot summer months.
