I really like this park a lot. I like how there are areas for kids which are separate from the more rural areas and the lake. That makes it safer for the kids. I dont like how many dog owners let their dogs off leash even though the signs state dogs must be on leash. I was attacked by a large dog here yesterday. The owner didnt even say sorry. I go to this park at least once a week and every time there are large dogs running around off leash. This is dangerous not to mention the dog poop that is not picked-up. Why is no one giving them citations? What is it going to take? Someone being bitten or a dog getting mauled? Obviously some dog owners dont care.

I love walking through Rood Bridge Park. Lots of trails, both paved and simply cleared. There is a rhododendron garden of over an acre and a half. Since it is November, I only saw 2 blossoms this week, but there are many buds and I expect to see some blooms as early as January, according to the signs next to some of the species. On Sunday, my son and I walked over an hour and still did not cover all the trails, found many beuatiful maple leaves and other leaves ranging from green to yellow to orange and red.

Its a wonderful park that Ive visited since they put it in when I was young. Theyre constantly working on the park to keep it nice and updated. Nice covered areas that you can rent out plus some buildings you can do the same with. A very nice playground and recently put in restrooms on that side instead of a portapotty. There are areas that seem to be a bit overgrown as of late though.

The pavilions are really nice for all kinds of gatherings and the large one has a fireplace. It is reservarse after April 1 through Hillsboro Parks and Recreation. Unfortunately, if it has rained too much or if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction you can get some pretty foul odors from the water treatment plant. You cant see it but it is just over the Tualatin River.

I broke my ankle less than a year ago. I like that I can walk the trails and not be worried that something will happen. Plus if something did happen, it would not be long before someone came by. But, even though it is a busy park it is big enough that it doesnt feel like there are too many people. Very Family Friendly!!!!

Beautiful park with well paved walking paths and good play structure. This is good for large parties as it has several covered areas and a large party venue available for rent through the parks and rec department. Lots of runners, hikers, dog walkers, kids, and ultimate frisbee players. Good place to take pictures also!

I used to love this park as a kid. I came here every weekend with my dad. But it is super lame how they dont have an off leash part. It is a HUGE park. Like, any park this big should. Also not to mention the water would be nice to let my 3 dog off leash. Boo on Hillsboro in general for not having more off leash parks.

This is a nice park a lot of space and paths to walk and jog on. Also the Tualatin river and rock creek run by it. people say they have caught cutthroat trout and bass and pan fish. I went fly fishing there i caught some kind of minnow and a frog. Saw some bigger fish jump but no big fish for me ;(

Nice park with lots of grassy areas and a "stream" that runs through. Most of the parks paths are asphalt or concrete so those of us with mobility issues can get around. There is play equipment and barbecues for the family. The down side is that its "nature" not nature, everything is landscaped.

Beautiful park. Amazing job of providing trails, picnic facilities, plenty of benches along the trails, a man made stream, and much more, all while preserving the natural beauty of the area. This is an example of the wise use of public funds followed up with great maintenance.

Very nice park. There is lots of space and trails to walk. Great to bring the stroller and dog. I wish there was more off leash areas to throw the ball around for the dog, but all in all its great. It gets very busy during the weekends in the summer, yet that is to be expected.

Well maintained park; has two large grass fields surrounded by picnic tables. Kids can run around. Theres a small lake fed by a creek and full of lotus. One can also enjoy solitude in the small but dense wood by setting up a hammock while birds chirp and leaves rustle.

This is one of our favorite parks. The dogs love going on walks here and Hillsboro park and rec do a great job keeping it clean. Lost of space for activities, play structures for kids, paths for running and walking and a river paddle launch is in the works.

The Tualatin River goes through the park. We hear there is a new boat launch going in, and they will be clearing the log jam downstream to connect to another park for boats. Great place for a hike, and it has a beautiful rhododendron garden.

Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life for a bit. The fishing is not really good, but its worth a shot. The pond is just covered in lily pads so no luck with any any bass fishing. Its a great place to take your dog on a walk

Great park. Nice trails for a walk with the family and wide open grass areas for playing. The play structure is great and the kids love it. The park also has a few covered areas with picnic tables for large groups. Its a great park to visit.

My granddaughter and I love to go to this park. There are lots of things to keep her busy (shes an explorer!) and lots of room to run around and just be a kid. The stream and pond are particular favorites complete with the occasional frog.

Beautiful park with a nice walking path. Be sure to check out the well done pond area at the back of the park. New bathrooms have been added. The picnic area can seem a bit crowded at times, but thats the price of popularity I imagine.

Beautiful park with a winding paved trail to circle the whole place. Lots of space for cookouts, picnics, events, and playground equipment. Fun little nooks and crannies to walk around in. Gotta keep your dogs leashed though.

The park is really beautiful with nice trails, amazing water bodies, multi-color flowers, and well lawned picnic area. The trees offer shades and cooler temperature suitable for a run or walk during hot summer days.

Beautiful park with great amenities and excellent parking. New bathrooms that are well kept and clean - boat launch, stream, pond, paved and nature trails. Lots of Pokestops and two "gyms" here if you play Pokemon.

An absolutely gorgeous park. Well kept, the people that visit also help keep it clean. One of the first parks my family and I visited when we moved to OR 6 years ago and it has always had a place in my heart
