I went on a free museum day hosted by the Smithsonian, but noticed it is only $3/ person to enter, so not bad for museum pricing. I would definitely go back to catch what I missed on the second floor. They had a glassblowing and architectural glass exhibit on and a door knob room which was interesting. Definitely a stop for historians and architectural enthusiasts!

Fantastic collection of vintage brass doorknobs are the permanent side exhibition. Exquisite workmanship! Knowledgable, friendly volunteers with a family history of Portlands booming 1800s are ready to share details of the citys architectural trends. To avoid disappointment, call first to see if the main exhibit room is open.

One of the "unknown" great unique museums in Portland. Even folks in Seattle have said there is nothing like it there.

More people need to go. But not enough is on display. The yearly exhibit changes though
