This place has beautiful views and great moderate hiking trails. Most of the trail is moderate and if you want a steep, breathy incline, continue on the path going south, along the coastline trail and youll reach beautiful cliffs and see Rockaway Beach from there. "Public Bathroom" is a Wheelchair accessible bathroom, which is pretty big, stinky, and most likely out of tp so bring your own. Its located at the bottom of the trail where the "Mori Point" Sign is behind a Mens Lodge House, in front of the gate with a broad, easy walk to the coast trial. Ive taken all three entrances to the trail. The first one walks along a fence of houses, a in-home preschool, and gets to a little wooden bridge. (Super easy, grandma friendly trail) The second begins a little up the road where you park, heading back toward the Mori Point Sign and HWY 1. (Moderate trail with incline, broad walkway) The third one I found is closest to the Sign and is for adventurers only. This trail begins climbing a steep mountain hill to reach the top mountain of one of the mountain hills near Mori Point. Careful! I slipped and got all muddy but trudged up it again. I accidently found it and have taken it ever since. Barbed wire in the grass, easily seen. Dont worry, theres no sign that says you cant take it. Happy Trails!!

Ample amount of parking, but some neighbors may not welcome you to park in front of their home. There are garbage and recycling containers at the path entrance and none along the trail. Dog friendly (on leash) and the hiking trail is great for all difficulty levels. If youre up for it, hike to the very top of Mori Point and youll be rewarded with a spectacular outlook of the Pacific Ocean. Great for a panoramic shot from where youre standing. Be careful when hiking down though. You might slip...I know I did and it was not pleasant, but I had a great time and thats all that matters. If youre bringing your dog, be sure to pick up after him/her if he/she does its business. Like i mentioned, there arent any garbage containers along the path. Furthermore, bring water, put on sunscreen and a hand towel (for your sweat). Wear comfortable shoes and have fun.

I love it here. So peaceful. So many trail options so you can exercise at your own pace and level of difficulty. It can be crowded on nice days, but the further out you go the less people youll pass. It can also be very muddy after a good rain. Sadly, over the years weve been going here we can see the damage erosion is causing. Some of these paths close to the waters edge wont be here much longer. Go experience this gem while you still can.

Beautiful views from light to moderate difficulty hiking trails. You can walk up to the highest points for long-distance panoramas or stick to lower trails for closer views of the cliffs and beaches. Some trails are not maintained and are marked as riskier, but the main Pacifica Coastal Trail is well-marked and well-maintained and runs right through Mori Point from Sharp Park and Lake Salada to Rockaway.

BE CAREFUL OF TICKS. My dog got 6 on him - my friend got 2. We stayed on the trails and walked up the mountain area. We didnt discover them until we were getting into the car. It is BEAUTIFUL but we had 8 ticks total out of the experience! I didnt read any warnings so make sure you are extra careful checking yourself if you go. One sneaky tick even lodged itself between my dogs paws.

Mori Point is one of the absolute gems of the bay area. Parking can be a challenge, (not for me, its almost my backyard) but well worth it. I have been walking the trails here for years and still find myself awed by the beauty. The GGNRA area is a leashed dogs only zone but the beach is a place where Fido can run off leash as its not part of the National Park territory.

Lots of trails of varying difficulties to walk on. I recommend going early so you can park near the front. Otherwise you may have to go into the residential areas. There is minimal shade so a hat and sunscreen is good too. Great views! There are also benches along the trails so you can sit and relax.

It can be a little tricky trying to find the right parking lot/entrance but all of the paths around Mori Point eventually cross so any lot around the park works. All of the paths are dog friendly and not too strenuous which makes it a good spot to take a leisurely hike.

I love walking here. There are a lot of different trails leading to great views. Back in 2010 I walked my dog here and she got ticks almost every day. I have talked to a few people recently (2014) and they have not noticed any ticks. I would still check my dog though.

I came here with my wife and some friends. We took Mori trail up into the hills and hiked around the perimeter of the park. You get great scenic shots of Pacifica and the ocean, birds and nature. Totally worth the four miles or so.

The park is fairly small, but the beach is pretty and the views from Mori Point are absolutely worth the short hike. It can be a short afternoon walk, or a much longer hike if you choose to catch the coastal trail from there.

Love this hike, lots of trails with varying degrees of slope and difficulty. Easy to make it as difficult or easy of a hike as you want. I parked in the little town at the beach just south of the park, free public parking

Awesome spot! So, easy to walk (flat surfaces, for those with knee or hip issues) and you can easily go to the black sand beach and walk to pier. Amazing views and so much to explore. Cant wait to go back!

Great place to hike or trail run for a workout. You can start from the north from the pacifica pier side or from the south from rockaway beach. Just be careful when climbing the steeper loose rocky sections.

Very good views. Decent trail that gives you a good workout to go with a feast for the eyes. From some of the cliffs you could even do whale watching. So be sure to carry good binoculars!

One of the most relaxing spots to enjoy the view and workout. If youre ever in the Pacifica or SF area, this is definitely a spot to take a break at.

Best views in town. Great way to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Great place to bring your dog. Not a good place to bike.
