If I could give this no stars I would. We arrived last night for a bachelorette party. From the moment we stepped in the door the staff was less than accommodating. They charge $32.50 per person for steak or salmon and 2 glasses of wine. This would be totally fine, however Im pregnant and a vegetarian. Upon asking the cashier if I could possibly get the "Under 18" option for these reasons she became visibly upset and said she couldnt do anything about it and if we had a problem we could talk to the owner. Speaking to the owner got us no where and she didnt offer an apology for the way her employee had acted. She instead insisted that people come up with "silly excuses" all the time and they cant change their prices every time someone comes up with something. Im almost 7 months pregnant and theres no hiding the fact. When returning to the cashier she continued the same attitude she had before and by this time the entire night was on its way to being ruined. We decided we wanted to leave and asked for a refund. Not one person had gone through the line for food or drinks and when we asked for a refund due to poor service we were all rudely denied. I would like to note that not anywhere does it state that they do not offer refunds, we had also only been there for 20 min and in that time we were completely disrespected by the staff, owners included. Just to add, they do not comply to the rules and regulations of Ohio liquor laws and they do not ID you unless they believe you to be under 21. Ive never been to a more poorly run establishment in my life and I am appalled by the blatant disrespect and the rudeness that we were offered by the staff last night. I will tell everyone I can about how horrible this place is and I will never return.

I am still in disbelief at how my friends and I were treated last night at this establishment. I have never in my life been talked to the way I was at Valley Vineyards. We took our friend here for her bachelorette party, which is supposed to be a fun occasion. They knew this was for a bachelorette party. The minute we walked in, the woman checking everyone in didnt give a welcome, just a rude "Thatll be $32.50". Extremely unfriendly for welcoming staff. We went through the line of friends paying this and we had one of our pregnant friends with us, who is also vegetarian. She asked if she could just pay what those under the age of 21 pay and she was borderline yelled at and it was rudely explained to her that it doesnt matter if shes not eating or drinking anything, that to sit at a picnic table in the back room she had to pay $32.50 regardless. Naturally we thought asking the manager her opinion would help us a little in this situation. All we needed were a few nonalcoholic beverages for our friend, which at a normal restaurant would cost maybe $2.00 a drink. We were rudely told by the manager that this was a "rule" and that her being pregnant was a "silly" excuse, when she is clearly several months pregnant. All it would have taken was them telling us nicely why they couldnt meet our request. Everyone was so rude to us at this point that we turned in our dinner tickets and left. We tried to get a full refund, as we did not eat or drink anything there, however they stated that there was no way we were getting any refund after the experience we had. Save your money and time and go anywhere else but this place. You will just be disappointed and treated terribly. I wish I could rate this 0/5 stars.

Beware of temperature in the dining rooms and management that are the victim of the problems in the establishment. I will start out with the food was fine, but the facility I ate it in was not. It was one of the hotter days of the summer, but the dining room we ate in was over 80 deg (probably more like 85). I saw no A/C vents and a few fans lazily spinning. After grilling up a steak outside (hot enough for me), I had to eat while dripping with sweat. I talked to the manager about my disappointment, and the manager shared that the facility was the victim of mother nature. It wasnt their fault that it was hot in there. He gave an apology, but then chose to tell me how many A/C units were in the facility and how well they maintained them. All I got out of the excuse was that they had a certain number of well maintained units and therefore needed at least 30% more. He was not understanding of the situation and did not take efforts to have this issue remedied in the future or make my experience any better. I was told to come back on a day that was not as hot. The inside temperature was 10-15 different from outside. Should I expect this to be the case when I would go to a cookout in the winter when its 40 degrees out? 10-15 degrees doesnt cut it for a restaurant open in the summer and charging $30/pp. Food is fine, but dont go when the temperature isnt perfect for you and hope that there isnt a problem that management needs to take care of.

My father likes the Honey Meade so I have purchased several bottles for him every Christmas for the last five years... at least... and every year the gentleman who assists me with my purchase asks if I would like to put them in a box and proceeds to put them into the box nicely for me. Well this year I stopped in for my annual Christmas purchase, but my experience was so completely different that it makes me not want to ever go back! When I asked for the white box the woman behind the counter says "We havent had those boxes for two years" When I told her that I got one last year, another woman behind the counter had the nerve to laugh at me and walk away. Then the first woman said "We sold out of those boxes last year and we havent had them since" Well which is it? Last year or two years ago? Ive never had such difficulty just trying to buy a couple bottles of wine! Bring back the gentleman, he was so much more friendly and knows the meaning of customer service!

If I could rate less than 1 star, I would. After cooking our steaks at the grill, we returned to our table to find everything, including the wine we purchased removed from the table and thrown away! For $74/couple you would expect better service. After informing the staff of their mistake, not only were they non responsive but no one, except TASHA, offered an apology and a bottle of wine to replace what they threw away! Also, the stuff behind the register were complaining that we were even upset to begin with!! Really?! Whatever happened to customer service? I applaud Tasha on her exceptional customer service and follow up. Everyone else at Valley Vineyard needs to take a lesson! They were terrible! In addition, please clean your restrooms as they are a reflection of how clean you keep your kitchen....
