I am new to the area and had planned to visit this location. However after reading the reviews and especially the responses back from a representative or owner of the establishment, I was shocked at the lack of professionalism. Upon completion of this post I plan to report this establishment to the Better Business Bureau. An investigation of their business ethics, customer service practice (or lack of customer service) and discriminatory behavior towards childen and others need serious attention. The response to the reviews lack ownership of making right any wrong doing, actually this business owner denies any wromg doing by his staff. Feedback is a gift. It allows one to make changes to better serve their patrons. I get it when you disagree with the ones who did not pay for service and tried to bowl anyway or when lanes were unavailable due to reservations. However the responses back to those who had children was uncaring. You may not want the presence of children maybe its a hassle, I dont know but children become adults. Bad experiences and poor customer relations are not easily forgotten. Why may I ask are you so defensive, rude and uncaring in your responses to ALL reviews where individuals are trying to convey they had an issue at this location or with your staff? You have no empathy towards any of these concerns, youre more like "whatever go somewhere else". You do realize most not all but more often than not, when people take time out of their day to provide feedback good or bad its to help your business not to hurt it. I am sure youll rudely respond to me as well. Or you will charge me with judgment without ever visiting like you did one of the other reviews. Trust me there are some truth to the negative reviews. Multiple reviews expressing similar concerns is not coincidence. Plus if traveling and the reviews rate the hotel or vacation destination in the manner that these individuals have rated you. Would you book there especially after reviewing the unconcerned repies back to the reviews. Maybe you would but the vast majority would not. Respectfully Submitted!

me and my son have started to bowl there atleast once a week. I Googled the opening hours for today because we were going to go bowling again today and seen this review page. after reading it i felt I should write a review. first off i make over 6 figures a year but if you seen me in public youd think I was homeless lol the reason I bring that up is because they have no ideal my financial status all they see is a scrubby looking homeless dude. Anyway Ive read the complaints and I first went there for a kids birthday party and one of my younger kids knocked down a bumper and was told exact same thing as what people were complaining about in there reviews. Ive also asked to have 2 lanes when I have brought a couple more people and was told no do to there policys even though every other lane wasnt being used. Its there business and there rules are in place for a reason. Stop thinking you should be treated special and get up and teach your kids how to bowl correctly instead of being mad at one of the workers there for just doing there job. it has nothing to do with you being black or they dont like the way you look. its just that they have a business to run and you feel there rules shouldnt apply to you.

They are very disrespectful to teenage African Americans.. would not waist time or money with then... luckily I wasnt around when my 14 year old niece went bowling and was disrespected..also my sister and nephew were disrespect...so if I was an employee there I would be more careful of your action. Threats no I dont make threats .only threats was made when you thought my nephew was dumb enough to come behind the counter as you provoked him to .. nice try !!!!!... but Im well organized so feel free to call the police ! Oh and the theft ...so its theft if my nieces friend ask her to bowl for her..and the police was called because you couldnt handle what your actions brought upon you ... wasnt no theft... there were witnesses !

The lanes keeps jamming up and have too many malfunctions when corresponding back to the computer to give scoring , the systems and things there using are outdated and the cost is over the top . Theres so many surrounding bowling alleys with better equipment as well as customer service , the owner here is very rude , he should take a customer service course , one of my bowling friends asked for a napkin he asked why she needed another one because he buys those . Well sir this is a business and you being the owner you probably would get supplies but its simply a napkin you shouldnt make your customers feel as burdens . The games all Didnt work . This place was just a disaster Ill definitely never go here again .

I recently moved to the area and chose Thunder Bowl for open bowling and league play. After bowling at the facility for approximately 18 months I can honestly say the staff treats patrons with respect regardless of ethnicity, age or gender. Ive been there while bus loads of school aged children had a wonderful experience. Ive witnessed disciplined teens bowl without incident. I have bowled on several leagues which included different ethnicities, ages, male and female with no problems what so ever. The rules are put in place to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for those who choose to follow them. If rules are not your cup of tea, Thunder Bowl is not your type of bowling establishment.

Ridiculously overpriced and terrible service! Open bowl didnt start until 9 tonight, but thats where my son wanted to go for his birthday so we went anyway, then we get there and find out that they wont let you use the bumper rails after 9! I asked why but its just the rules sorry about your luck. I told the very rude and uncaring worker that we would pay for a second game if he would just raise the bumper rails and he told me I could go else where if I didnt like the policy. We wont come back thats for sure there are plenty of other alleys! There is a reason why this place was so dead in the middle of summer break and sure isnt because any of these 1 star reviews are fake!

My experience was absolutely horrible. I had two children bowl and had them put up the bumpers...well when you have a 6 and 5 year old bowl they really can not direct the ball as well as an older person. Well one of the kids accidentally knocked the bumper down. One of the employers was quick to come over and say if the do it again I wont pull it back up. Kind of upset me because the children arent doing it on purpose. Needless to say this employee came over to us numerous times and badgered us about the stupidest things! I do no recommend this place...very rude...not child friendly!!!!

Will never go back! One of their staff members are SO rude. Talked to people like theyre dogs and just treated everyone like crap. I went in a group of 10 people and when we tried to leave because of the way he was he said "no refunds"... Insulted my friends and I and called us names, followed us into the parking lot, he was a dick all night. The place is super dingy and gross too. Will not be going back unless its for some pizza. But hey, Id be mad too if I was 50 years old and worked at a bowling alley spraying Lysol on shoes.
