I so want to give this place a better rating, so heres why 4-stars. Full disclosure: I am an occasional "lets go bowling" bowler --- meaning around 3-4 times a year so I am not their bread and butter. The whole building is very nicely maintained, good parking lot. The bowling is good and the food and drinks are surprisingly good. We often get a package deal --- shoes, lane, a pizza and drinks -- and we feel its a good value. One of the better locations to bowl in town that Ive tried. While the lanes are maintained well and the location is clean and open, we have had some problems with ball-returns and pin resets, etc. Standard stuff, but when you are bowling on a timer (1.5 or 2 hour block) and you spend 15 minutes of that time waiting for these things to be fixed, its not ok because their problems are my money. Also, the staff could provide better communication. The last 2 times Ive gone there have been issues, and each time I called day of bowling. The first time they said they were open that day but failed to tell me that there was a league bowling which took up nearly if not all their lanes... so we didnt get to bowl. The last time, again I called 1 hour before arriving, and was told there was open bowling that night. What they didnt say was they were having an event for a soccer league that would take up 30 of their 40 lanes and that it would switch to cosmic bowling (fun but not normal bowling conditions) while we were there. This should be relayed to people as we got the last lane when we got there.

Made reservations for a work party of 15. Did it two weeks in advance. upon arrival there was no record of the reservation. Then when I had to track down the date and reaffirm to the employee that I knew which location I contacted, I was told that the Sunday after 8 special was wrong and had not existed for months. I was told when I called to make this reservation that after 8 on Sundays 6 dollar cover one dollar shoe rental and a dollar per game for two hours. This is why I choose this as the location for my stores Xmas party. The entire time I was trying to sort this out the older gentleman I was talking to was very rude and quite obstinate about me being wrong. I would have been ok if he would have met me halfway and offered something just for the confusion and the fact our reservation was not received. We all left and took our party to a local restaurant. I was horribly embarrassed and mad for this awful experience. Hopefully this review doesnt go ignored and the staff can get on the same page and learn some basic customer service.

Poelking Woodman Lanes is a fun and friendly place with an excellent, knowledgeable staff! My friends and I formed a league there on Friday nights and I have only received positive reviews from league members. Woodman Lanes is very accommodating and with their Cosmic Bowling and awesome new game room, its a great place for a fun and affordable night out for kids and adults!

Clean and well presented. The staff is friendly and quickly accommodate to any issues or requests. The laser tag is superb, the best I’ve been a part of. It has a decent arcade and a laser maze as well. The ticket amounts for the gifts are very well done. The only thing lacking is the bar does not have a dart board. Not a big thing but a bummer for me personally.

Great bowling alley, with friendly service, kept clean and well kept lanes. Good fast food and drinks. Plenty of leagues and special events and theyve opened a new laser tag section to their building that is reasonably priced and has specials as well. Good fun for family and friends.

Pretty nice place or of the Poelking Lanes. We came here for a bday party. Seemed that the people working werent on top of things we had to keep going upto them asking for things. Good thing it wasnt my childs party or is be a bit upset.

The workers here are very nice and willing to help. This includes the front counter, laser tag guys, and kitchen. I would definitely recommend trying the laser tag and eating some fried potato cheese balls.

One of the nicer alleys in the area. Have a great summer special - $39 to bowl two games a day through August. Well kept lanes and computer software. Have a nice/bar longue area as well.

Fun bowling for the family. This bowling lane has been updated and is great fun. The computer consoles are good and has newer bowling balls for use.
