Ive noticed that Berliner Park now has a pay for parking booth and it was never posted order explained anywhere that those are only for people who are on softball leaves and theyre the ones that have to pay for parking. It wasnt until a question an officer if Lou Berliner was a state park and if it was why I would have to pay for parking just to go to the park that it was explained to me. He said all you have to do is tell them that youre there to enjoy the park and you can just drive right on past. I wonder how many people decided not to go into the park that day because they saw the paper Park boots and all the other ways around it blocked off.

This park is primarily a sports complex with many diamonds for baseball and softball. Depending on the event, there may be a charge for parking. Not much shade. Hard to find the batting cages open. There is usually a food truck or two around on weekends. Many port-a-potties but bring your own hand sanitizer.

Great facility with many ballfeilds both astroturf and dirt feilds .they have nice playgrounds with shade canopys over them at every section and a batting cage . Also close to the river with a nice bike path we spent the weekend hear with our daughter for the girls softball world series

Berliner is done very well! I have attended many tournaments in my 26 years of coaching and watching baseball and softball and this park rates in the top of all places to play. It is refreshing to see outdoor activities alive and well in 2015. Congratulations Columbus, you have a gem!

Love it here, I play basketball year round, softball in the spring/summer, and used to play in a flag football league. The facility is well kept and in great shape, plus its close to 71 so easy access for those coming in from outside the downtown area.

Played softball for years here, great place for it. Wish they made all the diamonds turf or at least did a better job raking the dirty infields fit rocks. Overall though, couldnt think of playing anywhere else in Columbus.

This place is huge with so many ball fields for different ages. Parking is everywhere so more times than not, you can park right by the field your on. They do charge to go in but its good for the whole day.

Nice gym. Just be careful at night. Park as close as you can to the building. I have seen several cars get broken into at this facility.
