I worked with the team at Franklin Park Conservatory for a clients wedding on May 27, 2017. While we did have some hiccups along the way, Brooke and their team were quick to look for remedies and were flexible throughout the process. I was impressed with Brooke who - when the facilities team was unavailable to take down the tent side we no longer needed - quickly jumped in to make sure the client was satisfied. Many venue coordinators will hide behind their clipboard and say thats not my job, but Brookes dedication to her clients is evident in the way she serves. The facilities are beautiful and they even have private suites for the couple should they need a clothing change or just want a private moment together before joining the reception. Its also close to many downtown hotels and churches. Definitely worth a look for those of you searching for a wedding venue in Columbus!

This place is amazing! Each month has a new theme. This time it was topiary and butterflies. The rain forest rooms are so lush and have so many pretty and exotic plants, ponds, waterfalls and something new every month. During the butterfly month they released hundreds of butterflies and had a speaker who told you about them and where they are from...There is also an artist area where art is displayed and on sale. They also have a kids play room with a running toy train with fairies and lots of plants and a tunnel. My favorite thing in this room is the giant colidescope. And at the end they have a very nice gift shop and there is a glass blowing shop that does glass blowing demonstrations. Absolutely one of Columbus best places to go!

Franklin Park Conservatory and the wedding/event team made our wedding extra special! We got married and had our reception in the Palm House. We worked very closely with Emily. Shes an amazing onsite wedding coordinator. She was able to keep us organized and on schedule. A special thank you to her for being so accommodating and helpful the days leading up to the wedding and the day of. This place is really made for weddings. So beautiful. And the Palm House looked amazing in the evening with all the color lights. We had 130 guest come and the area was just the right size to accommodate our family and friends. We had an amazing and unforgettable wedding.

Its a decent place to spend an afternoon. DO NOT waste your time with the butterfly release. They provide wheelchairs but to be honest its not really wheelchair friendly. Some doors only open one way so if you go out somewhere youre forced to go back in at another entrance. They provide tons of maps but they are not well designed and I found myself squinting at them and constantly rotating the pages to make sense of them. With poor maps and a less than intuitive floor plan its easy to get turned around. You would think that the staff at hand would be happy to give you directions. Most of them are, but some are just rude.

In my opinion, hands down the best park in Columbus. Rolling hills, landscaped paths, wonderful public gardens, modern play structures, lakes, event venues, all maintained beautifully and surrounded by turn of the century mansions. Home to the awesome Asian Festival, and of course the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. What more do you want? Tennis courts and athletic fields, you say? Cross the footbridge into Wolfe Park for tennis, baseball, soccer, and the Alum Creek bike trail. I challenge you to find a park that has more to offer in the Columbus region.

I love wondering the grounds inside and outside at Franklin. If you live around here you should totally purchase an annual pass. It pays for itself in only a few visits. Theyre always changing up their exhibits that integrate within their main botanicals. Its beautiful in any season and a great way to rejuvenate yourself in the cold and dreary days of winter. The best part is in the spring when you can release a butterfly in their exhibit. Its their best room. Hundreds of butterflies flying around you. Make sure you take your camera!

FPC is a great place to spend hours or a day. The conservatory itself is very large and consists of several different environments including desert, rain forest, Himalayas and more. They have special events throughout the year including the blooms and butterflies event which is a must see. Ive attended several special events here and have enjoyed them all, Ive never been disappointed. Then you have all the outside grounds to explore and enjoy. Theres several walking trails, water settings and ponds. Too much to list...

I havent been there for two years, but the last time I was there, the Koi were dead in the pool, the plants had been under watered for quite some time, the lizards were starved and the butterflies had died off. It smelled of dead animal and there wasnt a caretaker in sight for the different exhibits. I had never been so disappointed. I went there for a school field trip seven years ago and the place was so well-kept and so alive and beautiful. The only beauty I could find was the occasional glass-blown sculptures.

This is a very spacious and magnificent park. There is so much space to walk, jog or run. Many people go biking here especially in the summer when the cool air hits you and the beautiful flowers a d scenery passes you by. There are many Columbus even staples held here like the Asian Fest. Also Many weddings and Family events are Open and held here. Dont forget about the botanical gardens and the Butterfly Exhibit. If you are in Columbus I really hope you take the time to explore and capture this amazing Park!

Great local gem, membership worth it! The free grounds include paved walking grounds, pavilions, public art and botanical displays along with a newly renovated kids play area. Its a clean, safe place for an evening walk and to let the kiddos play and explore. FPC hosts some great programming besides its normal and traveling exhibitions, making membership worth it if youre local. My 8 year old participated in some of their summer kids camps this summer and staff were excellent!

I love this park! Not only do they have the amazing conservatory to explore, the grounds themselves have things to see and do. There are community gardens, playgrounds, event spaces, and just lots and lots of grassy areas to walk on. There are flowers and plants everywhere, and the trees are so tall and provide large amounts of shade so you can just relax and not get blinded by the sun. I visit this park at least once a month in the spring and summer months.

This is a truly delightful botanical garden! The various climate gardens are fantastic and they change displays according to the season. この植物園がとても素敵です。時期によって変わりますので何回も行っても楽しいと思います。

Excellent local attraction. The indoor part requires an admission fee, and includes a great variety of interesting plants and plant-scapes, a couple of different courtyards, and artistic features from Chihuly, as well as others on rotation. The navigation inside the Conservatory is a bit awkward if youre trying to see everything. The outdoor areas are slightly more interesting than an average park, and enjoyable for a walk, run, or time of relaxation.

What a wonderful place for children and adults. The grounds are beautiful with many interesting structures and plants. My grandson and I explored it for over an hour before we went into the Conservatory. The conservatory has a butterfly wing, tropical, rain forest, desert and childrens hands on areas. Through out the conservatory were origami structures. I want to go back. Every month there are new activities. It is worth more than one visit.
