I am a frequent customer at Corner Alley, usually the downtown location, where I get excellent service and accommodations from a great staff, in particular Lindsey on the days she is there. But every now and then I go to the uptown location if it is closer. The last 2 times that I have been there, I was serviced by a lady named Amanda at the bar downstairs. The first time I noticed she was very rude. It took her almost 20 minutes to take our drink order. Once we finally ordered our food, 2 other guests got theirs before us when they sat down after us. I hadnt said anything about the incident but I figured she must have had a bad day because her demeanor was very rude! She didnt smile once and her verbal communication was very short and limited with a nasty attitude. The second time we visited, we sat in the same location, Amanda again. I asked if she was the only bartender and she replied in a very rude and condescending voice, "Yes, but if you do not want me to serve you, there is another bar upstairs." She then preceded to make our drinks and slam our glasses on the counter. At that point, I came to the realization, either she is just a very rude person or she has some type of prejudice for black people so we decided to go upstairs to the other bar. She continued to follow us upstairs and lie about the situation to her co-workers to save her ass. I am very offended by her customer service and will never eat there again. I talked to several people who felt the exact same way and says management has been notified but nothing has been done. The only reason why this post got 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the Lovely bartender upstairs. I can not remember her name but she worked The Friday night of May 6th between the hours of 8-11pm. She was wonderful to us. Our food came out in a timely fashion. And she was very cordial & personable, how a server/bartender should be.

This is an upscale bowling alley with pinball and skeeball games and other popular video games that other video game parlors would have. Went here for a birthday party and the food is excellent! Bowling at the Corner Alley in University Circle has been described by others as "Its like bowling in your living room."

Terrible! I tired going there for the first time and was confronted by an off-duty Cleveland Police officer who said "Were closed!" and threatened to arrest me when I asked her why -- very unprofessional! After searching their Facebook page I found out it was a private event. An explanation wouldve been nice...

I scheduled an outing for my work group and the sales team was amazing! I worked with Coleen and she took such good care of us. TJ was our main server and was efficent, professional and very personable. I would recommend this venue to anyone scheduling an event.

If you want a nightclub-esque atmosphere with bland, overpriced food and overpriced bowling, go here. If you want to have a great time bowling with friends, head over to Lakewood and check out Mahalls instead. Two stars because its clean and the staff is friendly.

Bowling was fun. Lanes worked well and the place looks great. However the service was terrible. Our party of 8 could not get service until halfway through our game and then our drinks didnt show up until we were in the tenth frame. We went elsewhere for food.

With great staff and a clean and impressive venue it is an amazing place to be for a group of people and having a fun time. If I was professionally bowling I would not bowl here though as the lanes are not as well maintained as many other places

Put our party of 6 on an alley that made bowling nearly impossible. Asked to be moved but was denied. Two alleys next to us were unused for 11/2 hours while we struggled to bowl. PAID TOO much money for this experience and customoer service

Fun place to bowl, but expensive. Seating for bowling is pretty awkward if you have more than 4 people in your group. Bartenders need a lesson on pouring beer so that it isnt half foam when they hand it over

Beautiful place, food is good, service is horrible! Sad. This Cleveland place is so bright and modern, should have a great service as well. Believe me, theres no way youll have a good service there.

Very pricey$$$ Parking suck. Theres a African American woman who is the supervisor and her attitude was very unprofessional. I think I am going to write to the company!!!! Atmosphere was so bad!

Everything is nice but the price for food too pricey for what they offer, also dont order the eggrolls its just two eggrolls cut into four pieces for the price of $7 (2 eggrolls for $7 wow )

Pretty awesome restaurant/upscale bowling alley. Has some arcade games as well. Sizable bar with a nice selection. Cool place but finding parking nearby can be tough.

I was cool I guess. It is $$$ so expect to pay at least 35 for bowling ad that doesnt include the shoes. The bar tenders make good drinks and the food is good.

Lots of fun and a very convenient location for a bowling alley, but pretty expensive to rent a lane. The drinks are decent, but the food is kind of meh.

The bowling here is surprisingly cheap. There are more lanes upstairs, so if you walk by and see that the lanes are all full you should ask anyways.

Selection of games is slim and not a change machine in sight. Bowling alleys looked like they were in great shape (we did not play).

Food and drinks were a bit on the pricey side. Definitely make reservations ahead of time...especially for Friday night.
