Made my first batch of wine here. Ray was great in showing how the winemaking kit works and the sequence of steps. The first part is called the primary fermentation where basically the grape juice goes into a plastic bucket with some yeast and other ingredients. Ray handles some of the next steps and calls you or emails when it is time to come in and transfer your wine into bottles. So, to make 30 bottles of wine does not take a lot of time. Ray does all the sterilizing and cleaning of the equipment too. The wine making area is similar to a clean kitchen in a restaurant or a chemistry lab bench in school with various size vessels, hoses, thermometers and other testers. My first batch is a red wine but I plan to age this batch and go in to make some white next time. If you are new to drinking wine, the front of the house is a wine tasting area where you can relax and try different wines to discover what type you like. You can buy it in bottles. You do not have to make it yourself unless you really get into it.

We were going through Canton and the wife enjoys stopping at different wineries while traveling. The service was awesome and she was very helpful on sweetness and what to try. My wife loved the Caramel Green Apple. She called about the making your own wine the only down side is we are in PA. So drive over for a 15 minute wine making and then have to go back weeks later to pick it up. The price is well worth it to do and we may have to just plan it sometime.
