Where to start. Lets first off this place advertised that the doors open for the concert at 7, and hour before the show. They didnt open their doors till 7:45. They had a few security guards who were rude (cant discredit the one nice one). I bought a VIP table and the service for the VIP was HORRIBLE. I mean horrible. Our waitress was high. I was there from 7:45pm-12:30am and received ONE drink from the service in the VIP area. Staff was rude, service again horrible. This guys who are really just bounces but consider themselves security were on a power trip. This place was way over max capacity and yet they continued to sell tickets even though the concert was sold out. Complete dump. I would never go here again. I felt compelled to writes review because it was that awful. Oh and I cleared it with them about brining a camera in and when we get there had to return it to the car. Get your facts straight with your artist so you can answer simple questions. Dont waste your money going here. And if you do be prepared to wait HOURS for the artist to get their ass out on stage and again be prepared for rude staff who are on drugs and horrible service. This. Place. Sucked.

They have NEVER heard of the customer is always right. The employees treat you like crap!!! The owner needs to find a new staff. I like the idea, but if Johnny Cash knew his name was on this bar he would probably bought it and closed it down. I hope all the employees end up in the umemployment line because they are horrible. $5 just to take your coat to your car and come back in, then get treated like a terrorist, because some but hole wants to show some authority. If the owner has any sense he will address the problems or he will have to think of a new way to make money, because no one likes giving money to the class bully!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT PLACE AGAIN!!!! I WOULD RATHER DRIVE AN HOUR TO CHARLOTTE, OR GREENSBORO THAN GO 5 MINUTES TO JOHNNY AND JUNES!!!!

Ive only had ONE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE with this place....The security guards are racist & straight up A$$holes who treat you like $hit. BUT then again Im Hispanic & my friend that was with me is Black. We were well dressed, I mean Button-Ups on, tucked inside of my fitted jeans with loafers on. Well Security says that we dont meet the "Dress Code" & when I asked Why? He just stood up & said "Less talking & More walking!" Then called a cop over to make sure we left but I knew the officer because where I was employed @ the time. He is a cool guy/very respectful & Even he said "Yea, my friend you definitely want to take your money elsewhere". IVE NEVER BEEN BACK SINCE & TELL EVERYONE I KNOW "DONT GO THERE" & TELL THEM MY STORY & THAT THEY ARE RACIST!

Racist establishment. If you are white its probably perfect for you. If you are black do not waste your time. Went on a Thursday night and was told that I needed a membership to get in (Never needed one before). I asked about getting a membership and was told by security that they didnt have any. All black people were being turned away. All white people were being admitted. This is no joke...you do the math. The bouncer and the WSPD officers at the door should be the most ashamed for leading Johnny and Junes new racial initiative. How about a name change to reflect this... "Robert E Lees Confederates Saloon"

The club is actually enjoyable but he downfall of this place is the security. I can understand that standards and policies are in place I can respect that but the security goes way TOO FAR! If someone underwear is showing does not mean, by anyway, that individual is sagging intentionally. Now, if that person pants are below their waist then that person may be sagging intentionally. Point is make sure their are security guards that are fair too every customer. I do not want to claim predjuice or discrimination I just fell the security guard frisking people should be up-to-date on formal wear.

I am SO DISAPPOINTED!! This NOT a country bar. This is NOT a saloon. I have been here all night and there has been NO line dancing at all. The DJ has only played club hip hop and rap all night. Before the DJ started, a band played that wasnt bad; they played some originals and some covers of country songs. If you are looking for a country bar/saloon or line dancing in Winston-Salem, youre out of luck. Johnny Cash would roll over in his grave if he knew his name was on a place like this.

This is the best club in w-s. Always packed with great people and staff. When u have 800 people it takes longer to get a drink but I would rather wait than get a drink fast with 5 people in the bar. You may have to wait in line but thats at any club that is busy like this place. They always try to get us in as fast as possible. We love this place and feel very safe going there. You should check it out. Very nice place.

This place is a JOKE...Been there many time when a well known musician was playing live..Place was dead each time, cover charge was too high for what the place is, Women in the club are stuck up & staff & bouncers are not friendly, Drinks are watered down and over priced...At closing time the local police dept harrased us to clear the parking lot and where VERY RUDE.....

Went with my cousin to The Lacs concert, they were great. The establishment however sucks. Security is poorly managed and whos bright idea was it to have a crack head be a bathroom attendant? I left before the show was over because I was not comfortable being there. Ill try it again next time a show is in the area and update this review.

Had a great time. Bartenders werent very friendly to me, maybe because they did not know me. It was my first time there. I was also a little surprised that they played club music after the band finished. Was just expecting a pure country bar. I enjoyed it though and plan to go again in Jan for a concert!!

If this bar could say whites only it most certainly would in my opinion , I came with two other Latino friends and one was told to change because of his shorts , he came back changed and was still told he could not come in, have heard many other similar stories besides that the crowd is rough.

No wonder this place sucks, it was built on a landfill. For real. Crappy service and jerks for bartenders. You can hardly move and it stinks. I will never go back. P.S. I wonder if the owner has permission from Rosanne Cash to use her fathers image on the front of the building?

We went Thursday night to see The Chris Lane Band. It was our first time there. We had a great experience! We sat in the VIP section right next to the stage. The bartender was great and all the security staff were so nice and accommodating. We will definitely be going back!

Johny and Junes bouncers are the MOST RACIST people I have ever encountered in my life. I was wearing a brooks brothers button down and tight jeans and was told, my jeans were to baggy. I hope this place closes down, and all the white trash people that run it struggle!
