Vraiment beaux trous de golf sur le bord de la rivière assez difficiles. Les autres trous sont beaux aussi, mais un peu moins impressionnants. Le terrain était un peu brûlé, mais la balle roulait bien dans lallée et sur les verts aussi. Il y avait de la construction autour du golf, ce qui rendait le golf moins attrayant. Le service nétait pas à la hauteur dun beau terrain comme celui-ci. Pas de glacière dans la voiturette avec une chaleur de 40 degrés! Une chance que la fille des breuvages passait souvent!

One of the best layouts in the area with AMAZING scenery. Worth every penny! I will say that the greens roll a little slow (they are however well-maintained and roll true) but they can only cut them so low during the summer months. This course demands pin-point shot placement and if your wedge game isnt up to par, it could be a long day for you. You can fly the ball right at the flag and it will generally settle. I will say that if you are in the fairway, you can put a good bit of spin on the ball. For the long ball hitters, you can get to the par 5s in 2, especially #17. The staff were all knowledgable and extremely friendly. This course is a well-oiled machine. Thanks to everyone at Rivers Edge for a wonder golf outing.

Played on April 14th, 2017. If there was a category for most improved course this one would win it. The new greens were in excellent shape along with the rest of the course. The course has always been scenic but now the conditions match the scenery. I played Tidewater earlier in the week and this course is every bit as good at half the price. Its also a very difficult course. The high handicappers in our group really struggled. Many holes require great accuracy. Number 9 a par 5 may be one of the toughest holes I have ever played. The hole wraps around the salt marsh and the green is a peninsula that sticks out into the salt marsh. The green is at most 10 yards wide. Will definitely be back again.

Just a great experience from beginning to end. Played here years ago on a guys golf trip. I took my best friend and my 17-year-old son here Monday and it was better than I remembered. surprisingly reasonable greens fees. The weather was ideal. All of the staff were friendly, relaxed and accommodating (not always the case in the Myrtle Beach area). The beer cart had a great deal: 6 Fat Tire Amber Ales with a souvenir cooler for just $20. The course is challenging, but enjoyable, and the scenery is breathtaking. My son had the time of his life, including a birdie on #3.

Came back to play this course after being away from the area for several years. The course has filled in nicely since it was first built. The layout is nice, challenging but fair if you play from the correct set of tees. The tee boxes were thin, some with very little grass, and a par 3 on the back hitting from mats! : ( The greenside bunker on #9 was more gravel than sand; we dropped outside the bunker to avoid damage to clubs. The outside staff is generally nice, but the clubhouse staff are much more deferential to members than to the tourist public.

What happend to this course since May 2016??? Clearly they stopped taking care of it! One positive is that it is one of the most beautiful pieces of land Ive played golf on. The course...they completely gave up on it, the sand traps, grass has taken over where sand once was, the tee boxes had no grass, fairways were gone. Needless to say we were completely dissatisfied. The greens were in terrible shape and only half covered in grass. This ruined the experience for me. The course otherwise had a great layout nestled along the river with some very difficult holes and a lot of character. If the greens and general conditions were better this could be a 4-5 star course. Very friendly staff.

The staff was very helpful. The bag staff was very helpful. The course was scenic but vey tight in places. The conditions were okay except for #16, a par 3. They were terrible. The mens tees were a combination of dirt and sand and the seniors had to hit from a mat. Customers deserve better than that.

Course is in the best shape Ive seen it in a number of years. Glad to see it turning around. One of the very best layouts on the Carolina coast. Dropped one star only due to the 5+ hour round thanks to no ranger to corral the drunken Virginia golf package tourons.

Just not worth it right now, stay away from this course until mid July, the greens were just horrible, more dirt than grass, the course it self was beautiful and the rates are cheap, but right now play something else and come back and then it will be worth it.

One of my favorite courses but it is a Very challenging golf course. Many of the weaker golfers in our group did not like it as it was beyond their skill level. As a result, it can be long day for some. Expect 5-6hr rounds here.
