Nice course with full featured driving range facility, with cordial staff. Bought clubs from their local PGA fitter, also very good experience. HOWEVER, I cant bring myself to golf or practice their more because, the play at the course is VERY slow. Second, they seemed to have any interesting approach to providing seamless golf mat across the driving range and at one time you could even stand a tee up on it - cool. Unfortunately, it has compressed over time and theyve failed to replace the worn out mat carpet. It is now like hitting off the hardpan and, if somewhat older golfer like me, if you hit the occasional fat shot youre going to feel that for sometime. As much as Id like to join their practice club, Ill drive to closer Brambleton GC. Not as GQ as 1757, but the conventional "thicker" mats at Brambleton are easier on my arms & shoulders.

A number of us moved our memberships from another course to 1757 two years ago - an excellent choice. 1757 has one of the best practice facilities I have ever used. Besides a large number of mats on the range, annual members have access to grass practice areas, as well as two practice greens for short iron approach shots. The staff is not only remarkably supportive and very friendly, but also highly professional, towards the golfing public. The course itself is a challenge. Some consider it a short course, but it is tight, requiring the golfer to practice accurate shot making. Considering the amount of daily activity, the grounds crew does an amazing job of keeping the course in consistent very good to excellent playing condition. The restaurant, bar and cafe are a pleasure to visit; great food, friendly staff, and good prices.

Tight fairways, dog legs, water, deep bunkers, brush and thick rough, small island greens for 250 yard par 3s. I lose several balls playing a round here. There is noise from the highway and airport. Power transmission lines buzz overhead. There some holes that require a 5 minute cart ride to get to. When you play here, people complain about a lot (especially when they start losing balls). The staff are friendly and that goes a long way. The driving range and restaurant are great. The course is maintained nicely. If you can hit accurate shots and dont get greedy, it is pretty course to play. All the danger and design shenanigans are visible from the tee. So depending on who you are, who youre playing with, and how much you paid... 1757 can be a 3-star or 4-star experience.

I am in my second year of membership as a seven-day member at 1757 golf club. I chose to join 1757 over a more private course for a number of reasons: its convenient location, its excellent facility, and the professionalism of its management and staff. It has provided me all the advantages of a private course at much lower cost. The management is proactive, efficient, and responsive; the practice facility is unmatched in expanse, ease of use, and flexibility; the course is well maintained; the restaurant facility offers gourmet quality meals; and the staff is very courteous and professional. I have also used the services of the instructional facility for satisfying results - highly talented instructors. I am very pleased with my choice of 1757 golf course. - Josh Kolawole

I have mixed thoughts after playing here on 7/22/17. I thought the facilities, course conditions, and price were all very good for this area. It felt like the extra cost over other public courses was justified. The course itself however, is just not for me. With water on nearly ever hole, tall grass just off fairways and greens, and lots of forced carries, I simply did not enjoy myself. I dont expect every hole to be a pushover, and I welcome a challenge; but that being said a 12 handicapper doesnt want to lose 6-7 balls of the course of a round. I could see myself coming back for the practice facilities, but almost certainly not for another round.

If youre looking for a nice driving range this is your place, if youre looking for a good round of golf then you should look elsewhere. Very poor job by the staff for tournaments and regular play. Ive been there for both. For tournaments theyll have 6 guys starring at you instead of coming and getting your bags (they wait until you bring them to you), also, they throw as many people out on the course as they can and tell you to expect a 5 1/2 to 6 hour round. Ive seen 4 groups waiting on one hole. Last week we tried playing this course, front nine took 3 hrs and 45 minutes. We quit after nine.

This is hands down the best facility that I have seen. The driving range is terrific and if you join and become an annual member you can have access to the grass practice facility which provides all possible short and mid range practice opportunities. The course is relatively short but very challenging, and I play it regularly and never get board with it. The staff is terrific; the starters, the pros, the instructors, the cafe and restaurant staff, all make your feel very special. I would highly recommend it!

Played here 4 times this year and course is in great shape. Greens are a bit slower than i thought but well maintained. Best part of this place - Tour fitting studio. Roger fit me with a set of Titleist irons and did a remarkable job. First round with the new set = 80 (2 over on the first nine). Irons were fit extremely well and Roger is a very experienced pro/fitter to get the job done right the first time. I recommend a fitting here if you are ever in the market for a new set/adjustment.

The course was in excellent condition and, as most reviewers state, the driving range is superior. The course is a bit quirky with most holes left - to - right but it is a fun course to play. Can be a bit slow sometimes as water comes into play on many holes. Higher handicap players may find it a bit challenging. Weekday rates are in line with other high-end facilities. Weekend rates a bit steep. Have enjoyed my experiences at 1757.

Staff seemed a little short. In the idea that they really didnt want to be there. Everyone has a bad day but it was a private event and a very special day. I dont want your negative attitude poisoning our positive flow. It didnt help that the night started with the thid employee "mistakenly" photo bombing our professional photographer. Unrelated to staff but the patrons at the bar were just being loud and obnoxious.

Distance is short, but with so many water hazards it can be very difficult especially when your shot is not on your control. Driving becomes intimidating. Many balls will end up either water or long and long grass. You should bring many balls to play here. I cannot help thinking that this course is way too much overpriced, especially after round. Excellent driving range and electric carts.

Facility is great, but rated 3 stars for the overly difficult course layout. The course is overly difficult for the average player. Many holes dont have landing areas that leave you a reasonable shot on green ...courses can be difficult but as long as they are scenic and fun one can still enjoy the challenge. I just found this course to be hard without a ton of fun.
