Best thing about this course was the beverage cart girl. Came around several times and very personable. As for the course.... I cal it a "vanilla" course. Not much to it. Greens were awful. Down to dirt in several places. Fairways were good to very good. Not a lot of drinking water on the course other than the two restrooms. Snack bar graciously refilled my water bottle with tap water. If you want a much better experience, go to Carolina National. Better conditions and lay out. Costs less also.

When I went golfing here with family I was quite impressed. The course is beautiful with paved golf cart pathways, small forested areas, lakes, and a lush playing field. The course seems to be kept up nicely. You can buy drinks and snacks at the main building. There are also always workers driving around selling more so dont worry if you run out. If youre looking for a quality place to golf without paying too much, this is the place to go.

Played this course with my high school daughter and some friends while on vacation and we all really enjoyed it. Course was in great shape and the staff was friendly. We even ate at Duffers bar & grill at the course and it was very good with great service. With the beach so close to the course my wife and younger daughter were able to hang out on the beach while we played. Very convenient!

If you play one course while you are here on vacation this is it!!! Played here today and had a great time. Steve the General Manager went out of his way to accommodate my daughter and I. Course is in great shape and the Marshals were always present and very helpful. This will definitely be my go to course from now on. Good place to meet nice people and have an enjoyable round.

Im in town visiting for the 4th of July weekend. Went to hit golf balls before playing 18 holes the next day. Outside staff was very helpful. Inside staff was not very friendly. I will find out how the 18 holes go tomorrow. There are other courses that might take care of patrons better.

Overpriced. $69.00 is too much for this course, especially when are no yardage markers except 100,150 & 200 stakes in middle of fairways. Also locals pay only $42.00. We were asked if we were locals, then we were charged accordingly for our home locations.

Good layout..good bunkers... and OK fairways... but greens are horrid. Not much competition too close do they charge 60+ to play mid summer. With the greens in poor condition its not worth the money.

Fun place to play. Locals make this enjoyable. Great staff, Speedy is a real winner. No coolers but quick service from the vending cart. Alligators on the course make for additional fun.

Golfed a round here and really enjoyed the course! The employees were extremely kind and were really helpful. If Im ever come back to Oak Island , I will do a round of golf here.

Lost their greens. Charging full price and they dont let you know the conditions of the greens.

The crab dip is wonderful, the prime rib was VERY very tender, grilled veggies were just ok.
