This isnt really a review. Since I have not played there yet. We will be coming to outer banks from June 25th- July 1st. I am an avid golfer and looking forward to playing some golf while out there. Been looking at courses to try and find one to take my 12 yr old step son with me to play. Hes a pretty solid young golfer, but like any young golfer they dont always play at the same pace as an experienced and solid adult golfer. So my biggest concern is being rushed by course personnel and ruining the experience I would like to share with him. I have no issues with letting faster players thru and doing my best to keep us up with the pace of play. This is the course that he wants to play after looking thru all the courses in the area. However I am a little hesitant to pay that much for a round for him. since none of the courses seem to have junior rates, which I understand, Im hesitant due to the couple reviews Im seeing regarding unpleasant staff experiences. Has anyone taken their young teenager or pre-teen kids with them? If so. How was it? I would love to take him to a high caliber course so we can experience his first time on a course like that together. Honest responses please. Dont want to waste money if he wont be able to enjoy it. Extremely rude older gentleman in the pro shop. When we came into the shop he asked what we wanted. I dont see how that is even close to an appropriate greeting. And then when my group of three told him we had a tee time (which we were about 10 minutes early for) he "you guys need to hurry". And preceded to say that we need to "get a move on" "get going" several times. I dont appreciate the rude and disrespectful attitude. The course is lovely. However if my friends and I are going to be treated disrespectfully then Id rather not golf here again. Hiring rude and unfriendly people can ruin a nice place.

Hello, I dont have much of a review but a question. I will be vacationing down in the area from June 18th to the 24th. I was wondering how quickly the tee times book? Im trying to give my family adequate enough time to make arrangements to play but also not lose a tee time that we want. The course looks beautiful and is very reasonably priced in my opinion I do not want to miss out on an opportunity to play this course.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. RUDE reception guy in the pro shop. Ive been there twice with my husband. First time, we were upset because of the his rude reception. Second time, the same guy confirmed that he was just born rude.... and apparently the firm doesnt care about this discourteous customer service. Weve decided that it was our last round here. NEVER GO THERE.

The course it self was in fantastic shape the staff were very friendly but my only complaint was the fact that there is no driving range. They have a little practice net to the left of the first teebox but thats it. The first 4 holes were challenging enough without the ability to warm up and hit balls first. Other then that the course is 5-star quality.

After making reservations for 18 holes, they didnt notify me until after paying and getting my cart that they only had the front 9 open. I had to play the front 9 twice, it was a nice course. However, I should have been told of half the course being closed. It took 6 hours to play. They packed the front nine with so many people.

Man at the Pro Shop was horribly rude. we booked the last tee time and he yelled at us because thats when the sprinklers came on, even though that is not our fault, the computer said it was available. i would give it a better score but the man at the front desk ruined all my energy.

If you want to play a natural course that represents playing at Nags Head, this is the place. Great open fairways and greens. Well manicured even right after a hurricane.

the course was Nice, but some of it was not well kept. Also the was no beverage cart driving around, so if you wanted food or drinks you had to go to the bar.

Nice course, some of the best rates around. Shorter, but certainly challenging. Contrary to some posts, staff was very pleasant.

Beautiful location on the water. Tough tough course. If you arent in the fairway, you are probably dead.
