WE LOVE THIS PLACE! We were treated so wonderful the last visit even though we walked in about 20 minutes before closing. AND...3 more groups of 2 walked in after us. The guy behind the counter really really kept his cool even though he was getting requests from all around him. (Wish I could remember his name to say kudos) This is a 2 hour ride for us but we make the trip a few times a year because they have some superb wines. I buy theor PORT three bottles at a time. Dont know how someone could possibly give them a bad review.

Ive visited 3 times with a small group (2-4 people) and we were treated as an inconvenience each time. Very disappointing! The wines are good, which is why I attempted the 2nd and 3rd visit. I overheard staff complaining about other customers and the woman serving us on the last visit asked what time the event ended because she had enough... I found it very unprofessional! Expect some good wines but dont expect good service.

We went on a Saturday afternoon so it was very busy, but to be expected. We generally do not like the sweet fruity wines that we find in the Lake Erie region so it was nice to have a greater variety in the wines offered. Definitely worth the stop when touring wineries on the Chautauqua Wine Trail.

This is our favorite winery in the Chatuaqua area. When ever we vacation in the area, we always stock up on their wines. We find the staff friendly and helpful. And you can taste up to 5 wines free. We love how you can see the fermenting tanks right in front of you as you shop.

Stopped here on a wine tour with a group of 14, and this place was the best place we stopped! We did call ahead but we were greeted outside and they had all the samples poured and ready!! This place was great! Matt was the person who took care of us and he was great!

Samples were chosen for me. When I asked to PAY for the kind I wanted to sample I was told I wasnt able to. The workers there were very unprofessional and we could hear them bad mouthing us from the bar side. I wouldnt recommend this winery.

Stephanie - October 22, 2011 Delightful visit to the Johnson Estate Winery with knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff - the perfect accent to some incredibly crisp and refreshing wines! Great wine selections and very reasonably priced!

I have a bottle of wine from Johnson Estate that has been handed done to me years ago, never opened. Seal intact. With an old style U.S. Army logo with a beautiful young woman dressed in army regs. I would like to know more about it.

We purchase at least 3 cases a year online. Its now a our go to winery. When our son passes through he stops to pick up a bottle or two for us. He gets there just before they close and they are always friendly and willing to help.

The staff was rude and not attentive. They were busy with a bus load but should be able to handle more than 2 people at a time. I was treated like I was a child. The wine was nothing unique.

They have some of the best wines on the trail for the some of the best prices iv seen. Not the fastest service due to huge crowds but tastings are free.
