I attended a wedding at "Hockessin Memorial Hall" in December 2013. I was very disappointed with the food and the service. The food (chicken and stuff flounder) was very dry and lacked any flavor. You could see that most people left a lot of food on their plates. The staff working the reception was very rude and clearly did not want to be there, they could not even smile. However, I will say the hall itself is beautiful. But beauty is only skin deep.

I had my wedding there October of last year. Sarah Wich is the hall manager is the best. She is very easy to work with, just let her know what you need, and she will make it happen. the staff there were excellent, the food was amazing.
