DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS REC CENTER. The staff is rude and ignorant, I have personally reported the center to the commissioners office due to its vulgar and ghetto staff memeber. I have watched staff throw chairs at children, I have watch staff get into altercations with their significant others at the center in front of the children, and I have heard staff call the female children their "lil bitches". I spoke to the director about the incidents and I was informed that volunteers they let go when issues occur but staff they have to document and let things play out. The center has recently caught children having sex in the bathroom and done nothing about it, the security guard there sits all day with a cane looking out the window, securing nothing. The center is full of drama and is not child friendly. It needs to be closed down or given to new staff and directoral support.

Great place has a spray park, playground, outdoor basketball courts, computer lab, game room, electric train exhibit which is one of the biggest in the northeast part of the country. It also has a ballroom where they rent out for all occasions.

The staff members at this rec center are very dedicated to the neighborhood. My daughter volunteered there last year and this is so important to our community to engage with positive role models.

Great model train room. Train room is open the last Saturday of every month and also holiday hours in December.
