I grew up a few feet away from this park and spent enormous amounts of time in it. From Umbrella Point to the Manor Beach, we could run along the rocky shore, go fishing, build forts near the pumping station, play hide-and-seek and in winter, ride sleds down the hill by the Horseshoe Harbor Yacht Club. I knew virtually every inch of the park. On weekends when the weather was good, artists, en plein air, would be at their easels painting the scene in oils. It is a wonderful place.

A beautiful park! The views are just amazing. Kids will love it cause they can climb on the rocks and get close to the water! It’s a great place for the whole family. It’s also great for taking pictures, relaxing, and getting work done! There are a bunch of benches for you to sit on and look at the views. This is by far one of my favorite parks in New York.

Love this park. My baby Layla (My Jack Russell) also loves it. We come often with our neighbor/ friend pat and her dog..laylas friend Maggie. The park is clean, nice, quiet, the people are friendly. The park is dog friendly, the security man we see often is very nice and helpful, and also loves to say hi to the dogs. I would recommend this park to ANYONE

This is a great spot to come, relax and watch a gorgeous sunset. This area is very calm and theres also a great restaurant available right near the entrance to the park. If youre a big Pokemon Go fan, then this place has a few unique Pokemon which spring up frequently especially if there is a laure or two present.

Amazing park. Love the peace here and I am here often (Actually as much as I can). But last time it was bad. Group of young kids made so much noise and trouble that it just wasnt that fun anymore. And also, they left so much garbage behind them, really made me feel uncomfortable.

Nice area, well kept, closes at dusk. As soon as the sun starts its disappearing act, a security official will come to shoo you away. Very nice sitting areas though, and plenty of them.
