I love the Cornell Johnson museum, and it is always free to visit during visiting hours. The exhibits rotate often though some remain stable. They also often hold events with different interactive sessions. If you arrive at the fifth floor you are met with a breath-taking view of Ithaca and Cayuga Lake. A must visit if you are on Cornells campus!

In addition to the great art and exhibits, this space holds many special events, cocktail hours, and dinners. Also, be sure to go up to the top floors and see the amazing views of Ithaca and Cayuga Lake. The art may stay the same, but the views always amaze you.

Great art and great views from the top floor. The Asian art section features some really great pottery and sculptures from older centuries. The Cosmos exhibit is also great to sit and stare at if its not too cold outside.

What a beautiful building and exhibitions. There was one on Rousseau when we went ("The kiss of the City Hall, Paris"). There are also great views on Cornell University from the 5th floor or the conference floor (6th).

Chaoran Yu

The building is designed by world-renowned architect I.M.Pei. There is a fine collection of Asian especially Japanese artifacts on display with a theme of world expo.

Check which displays are current. Some exhibits are more Family friendly (and interesting) than others. Great way to spend a few hours.

You cant beat a free art museum (Even for visitors to campus). Nice way to spend an hour or two, and a good view from the top level.
