We had our wedding at the Paca House and it was an amazing, beautiful event. Jody, the director for weddings and events, is a true pro. She was amazing during the planning and implementation of our event. The Paca House is a wonderful, historic backdrop for your wedding and I cant recommend it enough. Heres why: From the start, Jody was responsive and attentive. She asked us questions we had not thought of and made great suggestions about how to best set up our reception. She even pointed us to an amazing caterer in Kens Creative Kitchen. Jody has a reputation for being honest and upfront about her rules and the vendors respect her for setting the ground rules. We had no problem with any of our vendors because they all knew that Jody called the shots. In the days before the event Jody made sure all of the vendors were on a timeline for delivery and set-up. Most importantly, she made sure on the day of the event we were able to steal 5 minutes away from the reception. She gave us her office and made sure no one bothered us for a few minutes so that we could have a moment alone. It was one of the few time that we had a chance to spend alone that whole day and it was all because of Jodys suggestion. If you want a fairy-tale wedding in one of the most idyllic settings in Annapolis, then the Paca House is right for you. Weddings are hard events to plan and the Paca House team, led by Jody, made our lives much easier.

Do not plan your wedding at this location. The Director of Weddings was disorganized and unersponsive. Because it is located in a historic neighborhood, there are more rules than most venues. We needed clarification on some items in the contract and could not get a response from her. I would call and email, and she would never be around to respond. Then, she said she was out sick on two seperate occasions. I understand that people get sick, but if you are going to be out for two weeks, you should find someone to cover for you, or at least respond to emails. I ended up having to go to her supervisor to finalize items on the contract. I was told that it would be handled and that the Director would call me back to complete the process. Two days later we received a call that we no longer had the venue. This started in Sept and ended on the last day of November. I now do not have a venue, need to find all new vendors and will possibly have to change my date. If this employee had done their job, and would be more responsive, none of this would happen. Additionally, while searching for vendors, I was told by one caterer that Paca House will nickel and dime you after you sign the contract and one DJ said that he had a lot of problems working with the Director.

FYI Saturday tours end at 2:30 for weddings. I must have missed that somewhere arriving at 3:20 but I wasnt the only one so thats heartening. They still sold me a $5 garden ticket (only good til 3:50) to look at a dry ravine, barren flower beds, scorched shrubs and a folly visible from google images. On top of it, the wedding set up was fully underway so we were pushed around and it was made clear we were unwelcome. Oh and idyllic peace? Only if you enjoy tacky DJ beats. FYI not handicapped accessible. I recognize my standards for house tours are high bc we enjoy it as a family and have visited dozens of the great American houses in truly every single state. While I was looking forward to this, it was an utter disappointment.

My wife and I got married here in the Fall. This location is hidden within the beautiful streets of Annapolis! To dance, eat, drink and mingle with friends and family while overlooking the beautiful gardens was such a treat. You really are transported to another place and time, which really creates such a nostalgic feel (perfect for a wedding in my opinion). The wedding director and her staff are true professionals, but also make you feel like family. I do not know how many weddings come in and out of the gardens, but Jodie (the director) really makes you feel special...as though all her time, energy, and passion is going into your special day. This IS the best place to get married in Annapolis!

If you want one of the most beautiful setting to host a party this is the place! Jody Dalton will walk you through the entire process, the stress level drops to zero. I forgot that I was having my 40th renewal of our vows due to her outstanding service. She did it all, and turned around the next morning to do it all over again. Thanks for the memories!

This is a great place to consider to have a wedding, we had our daughters wedding here and it could not have gone any smoother. Jodi and her staff were great to work with and and were always very accommodating. I highly recommend that you consider the Paca House during your planning of such a important day, you will be glad you did.

I lived across the street for several years a long time ago. The doll house in the gift shop is the replica of where we lived. The Pace house is amazing, especially when you see how they used the property back in the early to mid 1900s. Great restoration of the gardens!

Great tour of house and gardens. Tour guide very friendly and knowledgeable of history of house and life style of family. Lots of "period" details in the rooms. Garden tour on your own - to wander around or just sit and enjoy. Lots of history to the garden area too!

Interesting Historic Place. The docent was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. The house is surrounded by pretty gardens. I visited this site in the Summer. I understand the gardens are at their best late Spring.

Beautiful historic house with a gorgeous garden. The tour for the house is 10 dollars, the garden visit is free. In the house the tour guide leads to the rooms of the first and second floor and explains about them.

WPH&G looks great but it sounds like this "Jan" "Perkins" works for HA. Jan, why did you take down your review for the Museum on 99 Main Street? Luckily, I saved the screenshot.

Its 5 bucks to get in. Not too much was in bloom during this visit, but its still a gorgeous and well-known hideaway in Annapolis. Gotta check it out when its prime bloomage .

Absolutely beautiful, quaint garden in the center of Annapolis. Walking distance from the harbor, beautiful landscaping, and a rich history all make for a wonderful stroll.
