Brought my family of 5 to watch BFG. We Always get popcorn and pop at the movies. That was without a doubt the worst tasting stale popcorn and nasty extra butter we have ever had at any movie theater. Even the pop was flat and tasted like they use wastewater in the mix. It is an old theater and I didnt expect great sound, and it wasnt. They could at least correctly mix their bass and treble with the proper volume. I Will go to an AMC or Regal Cinema next time. I certainly paid the same price and wouldnt have minded the experience if the popcorn wasnt as old as the theater.

Apparently theyre pretty right wing, as they are one of only two theaters in all of WNY showing the 100 minutes of a republican mocumentary made by the conservative felon DSousa who has released other garbage such as "2016: Obamas America" and "Whats So Great About Christianity". This movie is so bad that it currently has a 4% approval rating. I have no interest in dealing with this business anymore, one that so blatantly puts this garbage political propaganda on its screens. Thanks for showing me your true colors though.

I love going to the Aurora Theatre! I try to go at least once a month, and its always awesome! Everyone who works there is super nice, and its always very clean inside. Admission isnt too expensive, and theres always a good movie showing. Snacks are also well-priced. The Aurora Theatre also has midnight releases of films sometimes. I would recommend this to anyone!

Love, love, LOVE this theater. Originally built in the 1920s this place truly has an old timey feel. You forget what digital sound there is (nt) lack of IMAX, who cares...this is a true original movie theater and the style and character immerse you in whatever you decide to go and see :))))))

Great old theatre, but much of the nostalgia it once had has been removed for some reason. To me that is the real draw. The theatre is almost 100 years old, I go here to experience what seeing a movie was like in the 1930s thru 70s. Still a neat place, but I suggest keeping more nostalgia.

Great theatre, you can actually go to a nice restaurant (Tantalus) and movie (with sodas and popcorn) for under 100$. or just got to the movie for under $30. All this and it a great theatre, nostalgic feel, n with todays movie technology. Support a local family owned business!

Great experience, they show new movies and, in the summer, play free movies in the morning. They often show movies provided by the East Aurora Schools Faculty and Teachers for free on days in which school is closed for a superintendent meeting or Parent Teacher conference.

Went to see fantastic beasts and where to find them. Seats a just a little uncomfortable but tolerable. Food isnt to over priced for a theater. Staff was very friendly!

Lovely restored small town theatre showing the best films. The in house made real popcorn in many flavors is a treat you wont find any where else

Pros: Friendly staff, cheap prices and old timey feel. Cons: Myself and several friends got bed bugs from here. That shouldnt happen. Ever.

The gourmet popcorn is delish, and adds to the hip amenities in a vintage theater. A real treasure in East Aurora!

Great movie experience. Quaint theatre, cheap on Mondays. Only downside is the seats need more cushion.

A nice gem in the heart of the East Aurora village. Repairs needed, but otherwise a perfect night out.
