This was once a wonderful park for Brooklyn to come together and enjoy the sensational Seaside Concert series:Great artists like Liza Minnelli and Pat Penatar to name a few. People gathered on the grass to hear the bands in the big shell. Due to complaints in the neighborhood of the loud noise on Thur nights, the concerts were moved to Coney Island. Now the band shell is a wreck from Storm Sandy and left to perish. The childrens playground has always been neglected and lies with a concrete floor and a small amount of slides and swings. There is a smelly bathroom which closes at dusk. This wonderful park where we used to be able to take our dogs for the concerts, and hang on the grass with wine and pizza is now a a place for the homeless to live.

This place is awful. Dogs can run free, but there is no fence for protection against the busy highway. Not safe for kids because of the dogs... Dont be surprised to see one or multiple intoxicated sleeping people while walking through this park. Its too bad that negative stars cant be given to a reviewed location

What used to be a great venue for the Seaside Concert series is now just a rundown patch of grass. The bandshell is in disarray from Sandy and since is no longer in use its been left to rot The playground in the rear needs some fixing up before someone get hurt. And there are no restrooms.

Been living next to it for 18 years, walked my dogs played there hanged out played cards, chess, checkers, domino, and more other games. They have free concerts here at summer time love it and hope everbody will do too fun place to be and injoy your self here

I give 3 stars the park is clean is good for kids but the problem is a lot of drunk people stay and lay relax for drinks ...so you never know wath is next.

Be sure to look at the sign for when they allow dogs off leash outside the park. After those hours you can get a ticket for having your dog off-leash.

Its a nice place for a promenade but I think this place couldnt be in a better shape than it is right now.
